I don't leave my toilet seat up. I think that looks gross.

I'm pretty sure it's only in the movies, there's no reason to leave the toilet seat up unless you're either lazy or you live in a household that sometimes refuses to flush the toilet.

It's more respectful to close it, and honestly I'd rather close it before flushing.

I am a guy but I never understood why so many leave it up. I've always closed it my whole life.

I never leave the seat up, but sometimes I don't close the lid.

Same, but I leave the seat up most of the time because I live alone.

I leave it up unless I'm sharing a bathroom with a woman (like when I lived with my girlfriend). I pee far more often than I poo. It's just faster to leave it up rather than lowering it, knowing I'm just going to raise it again the next time I pee. That's the single life for you.

I do that at my own house as well simply because it's cleaner that way. I pee standing up at public restrooms because those things are fucking nasty to sit down on. I'm honestly surprised at how many people are bad aimers though, you think with years of practice it's an art that can be perfected.
