I think the early parts of the movie were the funniest and the daughters... weren't great. An incredibly mean-spirited movie (not that the original was some super uplifting movie, but a lot of the jokes are just cruel). Harry and Lloyd are made completely unlikable. A lot of the clever elements of the original were lost in the sequel. There's nothing like the "What was all that one in a million talk about?" moment in this film. After rewatching it it just makes the ending so much better. Anythony Carrigan's sad robot was hilarious; I wanted so much more of him. but the real stars were Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving, who made the best pair and captured the personality and style of 80s Winter and Reeves perfectly.
