Discussion Topic: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/78857778 Bracket: https://challonge.com/es/e0cpkkjf Today's contestants: MATCH 1: Shinomiya Kaguya vs. Shirogane Miyuki (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai) Kaguya Shinomiya is the girl that Miyuki likes but his knowledge about relationships suggests that whoever confesses is the loser in a relationship thus leading to him unwilling to openly admit it. Due to this, he engages in mind games with Kaguya in order to corner her and make her confess. He finds Kaguya beautiful and has openly said it a few times. The main reason he engaged in mind games with Kaguya was because of the gap in their socioeconomical status, thinking he needed to make Kaguya confess to him first in order to be able to truly stand as an equal to her. -Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai Wiki Hmm Interesting -Advokaiser Steve Austin vs. The Rock (Wrestlemania) The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are two of the greatest superstars in the history of WWE. In terms of drawing power, ratings, merchandise and the legacy they left behind, nobody can compare. WrestleMania 17 is, in the eyes of many, the greatest WrestleMania ever and it did extremely well at the box office, too. Rock and Austin drew 1,040,000 buys and by this point loved working together. To this day, Austin says Rock is a dear friend and probably his greatest rival. One might argue theyre two of the best to ever do it because of each other. Austin fought for Rock to make WrestleMania 15 happen, nobody could deny WrestleMania 17 happening, and Rock fought for Austin to make WrestleMania 19 happen. -talksport.com MATCH 2: Snoopy vs. The Red Baron (Snoopy) The millions of readers of the Peanuts comic strip first encountered Snoopy as the First World War Flying Ace in 1965, when Charles Schulz drew the lovable beagle pretending his doghouse was a Sopwith Camel biplane. Dressed in scarf and goggles, Snoopy imagined that he flew in hot pursuit of the Red Baron, a reference to the legendary German fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen. -historytoday.com This rivalry was so classic and massive, that it spawned a song (later law-suited for copyright, lol), and even a PS2 game! I had to check GameFAQs to see if this was real, and yes it was. -Advokaiser The Powerpuff Girls vs. Mojo Jojo (The Powerpuff Girls) I really dig this rivalry because its very similar to that of Spider-Mans: A superhero saving the city from crime, disasters, and multiple supervillains, though with one that stands tall among them all. Despite the supervillains from the show all being awesome, different, unique, ultra-powerful, and recurring (Him, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess, The Gangreen Gang, Sedusa, The Rowdyruff Boys), theres always one fella thats not only more recurring than the others, but hes also more ambitious, and even shares a bond with the girls creator (Professor Utonium). This guy is Mojo Jojo, a super-intelligent, evil lab monkey that always wants to destroy the city and get his way.
