Currently, no. But's it on and off. Maybe I'll get one again when I move... It would be Sam's Club. There's one close. It I went back home, the closest is Probably BJs,, followed by Sam's... I don't think I've been to a Costco's...

As I currently live alone I dont need the membership for household/grocery needs as most of it is not worth the price of the membership. But I have gotten a Costco membership in the past for vacations or cruises since their deals are good.

I can't justify getting a Costco membership with how infrequent my visits are, let alone my purchases. It's not really a good deal for me.

I did have a Costco membership and make weekly trips there, but stopped when the pandemic hit because limits on how many people could be in the store meant my local one had absolutely ridiculous lines, and I let my membership lapse last month. I've since moved, though, and once my mandatory self-isolation period is up, I'll be seeing how the local one is doing here and look at re-subbing.

I used to use Sam's Club but now I use Costco.

Sam's had better lunch meat, TBH.

Do any of your nearby CostCo have gas stations? It is the cheaper gas that I got my CostCo membership for. Over a year, the amount I save on gas compared to other gas stations more than makes up for the annual fee. Occasionally I use the membership for certain bulk purchases but between my mom and me, those purchases last us a good while.

I never had one but want to eventually get a Cosco one. They have the best muffins and croissants that aren't bakery quality. Although knowing most things I bet the quality sucks now since it's been so long since I've gone.

Wouldn't it be the same lunch meat that Walmart has?

No, if I wanted to buy in bulk, I would just cut out retailers entirely. I could just buy from a wholesaler without the annual fee.

They do, and my mom and stepdad go there for gas. I don't drive, by choice, so... *shrugs*

Do you not buy in bulk? Honestly, it"s pretty stupid not to for a lot of things

Depends on what it is, though. And how much room you have. Like, for example, I don't think I''d have room for hundreds of rolls of toilet in the closet where I keep them. I feel like I barely have room for the 24 rolls I normally buy. I also don't need to go overboard with food or drinks. The amount I get from the regular supermarket last long enough... Since it's just me and my roommate at my house (and we buy our own food), buying in bulk isn't really necessary...

Only worth it for large families or for cleaning supplies since bulk cleaning supplies are cheaper than just buying individually.

I did say almost. Coke and Pepsi products are also usually the same price even in the big bulk packs. But that's because they control the price point.

There's one kinda close to me that does but its not close enough to justify driving out there to get gas most of the time

Yep. If you can afford it, you should buy all your basic necessities as much in bulk as possible

Maybe. If you can afford it, like you said. But spending that much in one shopping trip would hurt my soul... But also, its just me Im buying for. So, seems like it could be a waste. Especially if any of it can expire...
