The Last of Us Part 2. God damn it's so tedious. They use that invisible navigation shit like in Uncharted 4 instead of a map or waypoint, and they think that's an asset when really it's just frustrating because you end up just mashing yor character into the walls until you find a way out of a room or level. If gives you hints when you don't need them and is silent as the grave when you do need a hint. Stuck very often. And looking for resources is a chore more than a reward. Look all over the fucking place to find A bullet. And every level, the whole game, looks the same. Very drab. I think I'll finish it, but its not as good as part 1.

What's the last game that frustrated the hell out of you?

Spiderman ps4 the 2 boss fight at the same time died a billion times so annoying

I want to say it was Ghostbusters, during that boss with the 8 or so teleporting doors around it. He instantly downs the rest of the team and i remember being so frustrated because the entire fight was me running around trying to revive them.

Took me forever to realize, leave them and keep backing out the doors and back in, attacking the boss instead.

Halo 1 on legendary. That final Car sequence was stupid af, also considering I had only 1 bar of health

Tried PSO2 for all of 30 minutes.What a trash UI it has nobody knows how to design UIs anymore.

Red Dead Online. It kicked me off 6-7 times in one night and made me retreat to just fucking around in post-game. But I actually think I had more fun in post-game for a bit.

The one time it kicked me off when loading one my favorite events. I cussed so damn much. It made me sit there until it was at the final stage of starting too.

<_< I don't remember having many, if any particular, issues with them even on Ultimate difficulty(though to be fair I did play it on NG+)

Hell the only really hard thing in Ultimate was DLC 3

The Alatreon fight is very stressful. Took me like 6 hours worth of attempts to kill it.

See, that game intimidates me. Like I like Dark Souls, but there's a point, like about 4 levels in and I just have to quit. There is such a thing as a game being too hard, and many games are like that, but are otherwise pretty good games.

I wouldn't say immensely, but I was a bit frustrated in Nioh 2 with Yatsu-no-Kami. I tried for like two hours to get through that boss fight and kept getting it very close to death before I'd end up dead myself. I quit for the night and when I came back to it a couple days later I completely demolished the boss. Just needed to step away from it for a while I guess.

Wolfenstein 3 (whichever is 2nd to last one)

I died and would spawn right in front of the huge robot dog with no health and not enough time to run away.Literally broke the game.

literally just beat sekiro but honestly, I was probably more frustrated by the tommasi boss fight in control than by anything else in sekiro. just a testament to how fucking fun sekiro is. I also felt it was relatively fair

You know when Dragon Age Origins first came out, I was drinking and playing at the same time. Then like the first big boss fight in the tower took me a million years. I was there for hours drinking and trying to beat him. Then I passed out. But when I woke up, I was there in the tower and the boss was gone...I finally beat him in a drunken stupor.

ya, it was my first attempt at a tactics game since I didn't click with xcom years ago, so a bit of a heavy learning curve for me.

Xcom was hard for me too. I gave up like a couple of levels in. Don't have that kind of patience for gaming anymore.

Easily Sword Saint in Sekiro last year

I spread out my attempts an hour or two hours a day over several days and he was just walling me harder than anything in any other game I've ever played

I finally beat him one afternoon on my first attempt after coming home from work after getting close on some midnight sitting-in-the-dark attempts the night before lol

Probably that stupid doomsday level in tropico 6. It's a timed level and you have to meet pretty high goals to beat it on time. I quit playing because of it

A few early game deaths in They Are Billions. I'm not sure if I'm missing a single wall somewhere or if enemies will come out of forests i have blocked off but no power ran to yet.

Ride 3

It's been a while since I've touched it, but last time I played and now remember why I stepped away... Some race in the rain with a crap bike I didn't like. I eventually had enough I rage uninstalled it some time later.

Dead Cells, I discovered a new area on a recent playthrough then the game literally told me I had to buy the DLC to access it. Like what the fuck who does that, just block it off so I can't get there you assholes. It really rubbed me the wrong way to have the game in the middle of a run tell me to buy DLC

EU4. My 3rd or 4th game I was playing Ottomans first time. I had taken most of Anatolia and was going after the Mamluks late 1500s early 1600s. I had the mamluks in the ropes but I was running low on manpower. Then Austria with Venice and someone else attack me. I peace out with Mamluks but I get eviscerated. They refuse to peace out and Im broke and have no manpower. I finally peace them out, giving up most of my European holdings outside of Constantinople, and a year or two later Crimea and the most powerful Georgia I had ever seen attacks and I was close to my truce with Mamluks expiring in a couple of years. So I quit.

Hes likely referring to the jackal snipers in the early missions. Practically aimbots and its a OHKO on legendary, if I remember right.

I figured out that the fastest way through missions is usually just let the enemies come to me due to the firing sounds of my rubber bullet assault rifle, and all the explosions as I blow up communication stuff and whatnot. Quiet can knock out the ones who start coming towards me, making it easier to slow mo stun 2 of them rather than trying to just shoot and stun/ sleep 1-2 at a time and hope nobody sees me or the entire base is on my ass.

they have extreme aimbots, and if the first hit isn't a headshot (which it likely is) the followup will take you out.
