Welcome to the King of Fighters 2020 (NOT MERCS) Simulated Character Battle Tournament!
The game is simple. The two* listed characters are placed in an (imaginary) location with a variety of (imaginary) environments, kind of like a picture in a child's schoolbook that describes different types of geological features. Within a ten mile radius, there is an (imaginary) urban downtown, exurbs, plains, snow-clad mountains at the edge, dry plains, etc. Fighters start wherever is most appropriate for them, but feel increasingly compelled to seek out their opponent and fight. Strong-willed fighters can try to hold out in their chosen environment for longer... eventually, all will succumb and actively search for the other to battle. To participate, just vote in bold for whichever character you believe will win. Giving reasoning is optional, but please be polite and read what others have said and carefully make your decision. I'll ping the nominators (they can opt out) to give arguments if they wish. Results/Discussion: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/78797189 TODAY'S PARTICIPANTS: He-Man (Masters of the Universe) https://imgur.com/a/aP2w4ki With the powers that only an 80's action cartoon can grant, He-Man is nonetheless limited in how much he can exert himself before running out of juice vs Dregg Morris (Medieval Cop) Capable of using the power of Dimensional Debate (not anything like Umineko thankfully), Dregg Morris can hypnotize or mentally bedazzle opponents if they aren't strong enough to oppose his mind @Kamekguy @O n e I really need you here for this one buddy FIGHT --- You shine, and make others shine just by being near them. ... He-Man has resisted someone trying to control his mind and body before (https://m.imgur.com/a/HAhqw6M here, if you feel like reading a big ol comic strip) so I'm leaning him at the moment, I don't know how capable Dregg is though
actually is He-Man going to transform from Clark Kent mode as soon as he sees his opponent, or right away or what? --- Hello again. ... Copied to Clipboard!

One time Skeletor was doing something really nasty to the tides of Eternia by moving the moon out of orbit.
He-Man got on a wind rider, flew up to the moon, and pushed it back into orbit through the power of pushing it... and Grayskull, I guess. This is congruous with the time he lifted all of Castle Grayskull, threw it, and then threw a grappling hook onto it so that he could ride it. Or the time he saw a fissure in the earth, stuck his sword in, and vibrated the sword so fast that the earth re-closed. He-Man is the definition of "stupid strength" in an actual warrior form. Rather than pure destructive power, He-Man is granted knowledge and knightly wisdom by the spirit of King Grayskull, who inhabits his sword, and the Sorceress, who is basically in constant codec conversation with He-Man whether he wants it or not. This has been used for him to resist the influence of King Hsss in the past, where when everyone else in He-Man's friend group became a snake-person, He-Man was able to resist because of course he did. I am very interested to see what any given He-Man opponent can do, because when they throw something at him and tell him to "jump", he is probably the best example of going back and asking "how high"? As for transformation, Adam's generally a coward and pragmatist before nobility (until he learns a lesson by being He-Man or something), so if he senses the murderous intent of the weird fight dimension, he'd probably go He-Man in a second. --- Mario Vs Cloud 2002: A Video Retrospective - https://youtu.be/1dx4t6H_K9Y Full Channel Available Here!: https://www.youtube.com/c/designingfor ... Isn't Dregg essentially completely immune to death regardless of how it happens?

I don't think killing one's opponent is necessary for a win - knocking them out or incapacitating them would work.

He-Man via Ring out. If He man can resist mental attacks to a degree, Dregg is in DEEP TROUBLE.

"mid" tier
anyway he-man does mental resistance, yes. he's also strong enough to move planetary bodies and can move at ludicrous speeds. don't remember the exact speed but it might be light speed since he can move across space at meaningful distances? but whatever, complaining about the tiers at this stage is pointless. wish there weren't so many "this character cannot die under any circumstances" nominated, it's starting to make the matches really boring. honestly though I take this contest a lot less seriously than any other character battle topic series in the past. so I'm just going to assume that he-man can fling him somewhere from which he can never return -- essentially as good as dead.
