Servers are getting hammered

they shut down the servers for the next 2 hours

giving it away for free on ps+ on launch day probably wasn't the best idea for servers

I managed to get one round in and had a lot of fun. I lost out on the second team game of the round, haven't been able to get a round since.

i managed to get a crown this afternoon while the servers were stable for a bit

Been watching YouTube videos of streamers playing this all day because it's the most hilarious game ever and think I've got some good strats. Just downloaded it and super ready for servers to go back.

Also hope there's some new games here not in the beta because I think I already know most of them.

Haven't been able to download yet but I'm not seeing any new levels when I watch streamers. Are they coming later or something?

Lol so many people can't get through the see saw stage

first thoughts:

• real fake doors is hilarious
• the egg game controls so awkwardly
• I get the seesaw level literally every time
• I swear slime climb is impossible

SeeSaw has to be the hardest first stage

I've gotten put in 3 uneven Fall Ball (Rocket League) matches already, they need to hot fix that ASAP

Won two times so far, though one was because the first round slime climb eliminated all but 6 people lol

got a crown on my first game! here's to never repeating. all of those hours playing astrobears really paid off

the funniest minigame by far was the tail grabbing level.

i went to play a second time, but the servers crashed. we'll see if i return... or return the game

Slime Climb always eliminates the most people.

Won 3 times so far. Could have been 4 but the servers were still janky and I got in the final 4 with the last game being Royal Fumble. The person who had the tail didn't appear at all so it was just 3 of us just running around.

haven't won yet. Closet I got was a making it to the final 5 in the grab-the-tail game. Not sure what was up with that or if I was doing something wrong but I could never seem to actually grab the tail, even if I was like right on them

i think the biggest "problem games" are door dash and the egg collecting one

door dash there's just nothing to differentiate people, all 60 people are basically clumped the entire time, except a bit of randomness if you're behind due to hitting the wrong door. no other game has the timespan from 1st place to 45th place be so short.

the egg game sucks because once two teams decide on the "weak link" to punish, you really can't escape if it's you

Just got my first win. I've been playing with a squad of 4 and the game is hilarious on voice chat.

Yeah, I get the feeling most groups I'd play with would just want to play another rather than watch the rest of the game.

I've been playing with friends and it's pretty great, but yeah you need to play with people that don't take it too seriously and have the mindset that this is just a dumb party game to have fun with. I personally don't mind the randomness of some of the games (I love Door Dash because of how hilarious it is to see everyone stumbling over each other) and even if I get knocked out early I have fun watching my friends struggle and stumbled around in the following matches.

The whirly gig giveth and the whirly gig taketh away. Kept getting blasted off the edge towards the end but then i got yeeted all the way to the finish line and came in 1st. Pretty fun so far even though i suck. Made it to the final round once in about 15 games. Maybe more practice will help. Also i wish i had friends

Yeah same here. Might be my favorite one so far but i havent seen them all yet. I do really well at gate crash and hit parade so i like those too

The lag for the soccer game is yikes. I basically dove straight at the ball and went right through it as it kept rolling.

tail grabbing ones are slightly annoying at the moment cause sometimes your tail gets stolen from someone who isnt near you at all on your screen, but oh well, theyre still super tense and fun

The team games are kind of annoying and random. But it was fun in the beta.

Wins were that one where the tiles fall and last one standing wins

And the other was be the last one with the tail which was just pretty lucky to grab the tail at the last 2 seconds when it was just a group of us grabbing it from each other for 30 secs straight at the end.

I managed a win on every kind of final game. The mountain one is really hard imo just because it's so easy for any individual to win. If you start off in front it's fairly simple to run away with the whole game since the obstacles are all pretty easy. Everyone else is out of luck.

Got 2 wins today. Managed to get the tail during a final and kept it for like 30 seconds. It was very satisfying juking everyone for 30 seconds.

Man I hate all of you that won your very first game. I came in second on my first game by a matter of less than 2 seconds on Hex-a-Gone. Also that game isn't near as fun to play as it is to watch. Thought it was going to be my favorite game but controlling the camera while everything falls apart is kind of a problem. And thanks to that, the "bunny hop" cheese method never quite worked for me. I'll bunny hop a while on a nice chunk of land and inevitably fall through three layers.

And team games are lame. I swear to god I get put on the garbage team every time. Literally lost a game of Fall Ball 0-8!

I think they should just make round 2 the team game round so its not too frustrating if you lose. One match I got two team games in a row and thats just a bummer
