so at the fall mountain, i missed out on my first win because I thought you just had to dive at the crown. I'm guessing you have to go around and jump on a platform over to it or something....

You have to grab it.

A lot of people miss that despite it saying it in game a lot.

can you grab it while standing or do you have to dive/jump and grab it?

You don't want to dive because you can't grab in a dive.

Fall Mountain definitely feels a bit random to me, if you start behind and get hit by a fruit once you might just lose. I think it should be longer and have more opportunities to win without being perfect.

That said, I won a 20-person Fall Mountain (round 3) last night which felt pretty good.

The thing that was annoying though was, I reached the end a few seconds before anyone else. But the crown was floating on its way up, so I had to wait 2-3 seconds for it to go up and come back down. And by the time it did, there were 2 other people waiting to leap for it. I basically got a 1/3 chance of winning even though I had the lead the whole time.

I think that's the solution for giving people in the back a fair chance. If it didn't float up and down then the person in front would have too big of an advantage

A streamer last night said that we aren't getting any new levels until Season 1 ends in 2 months. This game is fun but they're really shooting themselves in the foot if they don't add any new content for 2 months. We've seen from the trailers that they already have different levels made so why would they hold them for that long?

Has there actually been gameplay of other levels shown? I glanced at a few trailers real quick and the gameplay is of the levels we have. There's non-gameplay footage of other level concepts, though.

Though it's possible I missed something.

I mean these are all the same games but there are some variations for the levels here. Some streamers who were part of the original closed beta said there were more games like one where your team was controlling a big skateboard

The thing with this game is that some levels are great and others are kind of terrible.
And for me, when you get a few annoying ones in a row, it makes me want to stop playing.

I think the final race levels need more randomness

If you start in the front and know the correct path you just win

It's okay in the qualifiers because first doesn't matter and there's a bunch of funny bodies mixing things up

Slime climb is so dumb. Was the first match of the game and I swear I spent the entire thing prone. Haven't once made it through the part where it's moving blocks with gaps between.

This is the only race I've been so far ahead of everyone that I was able to get the taunt trophy without issue.

The only exception is the fake doors race I think. You can REALLY get screwed if you're the pack leader and you hit 2 or 3 wrong doors.

have you been part of 30 people trying to squeeze through 1 door yet? It is hilarious

I will say WhirleyGig is probably the race you can most just hang back and its no big deal, maybe the other doors race with the up and down doors

Seesaw is probably my least favorite just because it takes so much longer than the other ones. Like I can finish a round of seesaw and then it'll still be 5 minutes before enough people qualify. I think the first few seesaws should have a (slower) bottom path and only the last set should be a restart if you fall off.

I think there generally needs to be some more limitation on when some levels show up. Slime Climb is great for like twenty people, but too difficult for a full sixty to try all at once.

yeah block party definitely too easy. the double swinging bars is too easy too, forget the name

Yeah my first game with the double bars I tried to grab someone right as the bar came to screw them up but I grabbed them too long and we both died.

It was still pretty funny to completely wreck someone

yeah no slime climb is just the worst and I like it less each time

either there needs to be a practice mode to get better at it or they need to slow down how fast the slime goes up. It's putting 60 people into the one stage and like 10 people are making it through at the absolute most. Still have not even once gotten past that section with the moving blocks on the small ledges, after doing the stage maybe 25 times now. More often than not I'll fall in the first gap and then be stunned for like 20 straight seconds as people repeatedly fall on my head

there's no qualification limit so you don't have to worry about being in front, you can just take your time. if there's too many people crowding around you, just wait.

block party is really easy for the first 1:40 and then in the last 0:20 it gets really "hard", it's not actually hard but there's like 30 people in a super narrow space so even if you do everything properly, you can just get stuck and pushed off

Slime Climb with high numbers is the only way it becomes challenging.

PS grab people as they step in front of a push block.

I always grab people at all times

That's the problem, you can't. Especially in those first couple sections the slime rides so quickly you only get like one chance to make your jumps

There are 3 or 4 different ways to make the opening jumps.

It is definitely the section with the most risk but you absolutely can fail once or twice and still make it.

I just had a run where I was the 4th qualifier on Seesaws and would have been 2nd if some jackass didn't grab me right at the end for no reason.
