I got stuck again. The method of figuring out which piece of evidence to present is pretty unpredictable but I finally figured out I had to show the security photo right when she said she knew Powers was injured.

Yes!! It's probably the best 30 bucks I ever spent. The switch version looks updated and way better graphically but the game itself is amazing and doesn't feel dated at all.

This has been some of the best pick up and play gaming I've had in a while

Im hoping this next case will finally stop holding my hand and that my courses of action to progress will make a bit more logical sense.

Other than that I'm having a blast so far

$30? I thought I saw it for under $12. The entire trilogy

1-2 is the worst case in the franchise, and 1-3 is only really ""good"" because the samurai kids show motiff is amazing. The third day of trial existing is such a turn off cause it was pretty decent until then, but adding another 50% run time unnecessarily just kills all momentum.

Yeah the best thing about them are all the things they introduce. 1-2 introduces the whole investigation segments, detectives, detention centers, non-culprit witnesses etc. 1-3 has the introduction of the steel samurai although it also introduces one of the worst concepts of the series, the concept of the annoying "comic relief" witness who actually just exists to irritate the fuck out of you And they rarely capitalize on that by making one of the comic relief characters the actual culprit. As cases themselves, they're kind of mediocre.

I actually really like Oldbag in 1-3. It's clear her conceptualization for that specific case is well-thought out and utilized. She might be "annoying", but it's played off as really good comedy, IMO.

It's all her appearances after that that are terrible. Also, Lotta Hart is never not cancerous.

What the actual fuck...? The character development is so good and important. And it fits well in the culprit theme of AA1's figures of legal power as culprits

It introduces the spirit medium nonsense and thus can be entirely blamed for that shit. It gives you a piece of paper as evidence in the first few minutes of the case and the big reveal that closes the case is that despite having it in your inventory (or a copy/image/however the evidence bag works) for the entire case, you never looked at the backside of it and doing so cracks the case. It's incredibly unsatisfying as a gameplay and storytelling element and I know Phoenix is often played off as a bit of a dumdum, but how stupid do you have to be to not have the brain function to turn over a piece of paper? And even then, that's not enough to fully close the case. A ghost literally has to blackmail a confession out of the bad guy in the middle of court. It's baffling. You won. Because your dead boss blackmailed someone.

Like, there are cases that are more boring or otherwise less enjoyable to play, and less significant in the main storyline of the franchise. But there's no case that has ever made me ask why I'm even playing the same way that 1-2 does.

Also, nice that you figured out to show your attorneys badge lol. It stumps quote a few newbies. Unless you just like showing your badge to everyone in which case, respect.

I apologize. I have returned.

Case is getting interesting, may have a photo of the actual murder the moment it happened through Lotta's camera.

My assumption is that Edgeworth murdered in self defense. Perhaps even stopped the bullet and fired it back with his own mind

This is Edgeworth we're talking about here. Every time u think u have him, he has you
