Technically depends how many people are around.

I sometimes wait all the way to the car, but sometimes honestly have taken it off halfway across the parking lot.

At home or driving in my car, no.

When I go to a store, a restaurant or to work, I put on a mask before I go inside.

Inside businesses/stores, yes.

Outdoors, I have thus far been able to go places I want to go without being in proximity to others, so no mask outdoors (unless I'm approaching an indoor business).

I've worn a mask inside stores and to and from my car since the beginning of April. I don't really spend a lot of time outdoors in public, but if I did I'd wear a mask.

Every time I've had the farrier over to work on my mare's hooves I've worn a mask even though he didn't.

I bought a couple dozen cotton bandanas. They make great masks, they absorb sweat, they're easily washed, they're fairly cheap, and after the pandemic is over I can still use them as handkerchiefs/sweat bands/tourniquets/rags/etc

Indoors is required. Outdoors, never. There's nothing to worry about outside. Air moves, sun is hot, it's all good.

Don't have a choice, the governor decided we didn't have rights.

On public transport, and at doctors/hospital when I have to take my mum down. At the moment it's not mandatory to wear it elsewhere, but once it comes into effect soon I'll be wearing it wherever it's required.

I have rarely been outside surrounded by people but if I did I would wear one. Inside in a public business or other public place I would wear one in every circumstance except when sitting at a restaurant and eating.

I only have a mask on when using public transport. Next week this will be extended to when I go into shops because reasons. Outside of that I don't care.

I'm required to wear one everyday at my job. I also wear one when I go shopping or out anywhere else in public.

I carry one in my pocket in case the owner of a place complains about it, but I keep it off unless complained to.

Love the Zelda masks, badass. Using the fact we all have to have masks to rock stylized masks is p. sweet.

It must eventually get kinda depressing to see everyone wearing masks all the time though.

I mean, looking at different parts of other people's faces like their mouths are a pretty important part of normal everyday interaction with people.

Hopefully this pandemic will be over soon enough.

I wear it at all times, when I sleep, when I poop, in the car, when I shower I never take it off

Our sheriffs department has more or less said they wont enforce it but it is required by our governor now so yes when going to stores/restaurants. Not outside. Is annoying but at least i dont have to for work.

Indoors, yes (it was only just made officially mandatory here yesterday, but I have been for a few months). Outdoors, generally not, but I would if I were doing something outdoors where distancing was harder to maintain. As it stands, the only thing I do that entails spending much time outside these days is going for walks around the neighbourhood, and it's generally easy enough to make space there, so I don't bother.

I still think its a waste of time but its a your house your rules thing. I wear a mask where im told I have to do it.

The only reason why I think its a waste of time is that honestly I doubt the proper mask wearers would get the corona virus (minus medical personnel they are heroic). The problems are the Karens and Hanks that think that they are outsmarting everyone by quoting non existant rules, altering(cutting slits, holes and other such stupidity), wearing stupid mask(saw a guy wearing a nixon mask to a bank jk) or the people who dont put it on.

Just my opinion but again if you tell me to wear a mask I do it. I dont want my stubbornness to harm another.

Masks aren't great at preventing infection, primarily because the eyes are a major route for respiratory tract infections (this is true of colds, influenza, and any other common illness, not just Covid). The tear ducts are a nice, moist direct line to the nasal passages, and bacteria and viruses love that. Masks keep the nose and mouth safe, but do nothing to protect the eyes, so while they're better than nothing, they're too unreliable to be the only protective measure at play.

In contrast, masks are great at preventing people who are already infected from transmitting it to others. That happens almost purely via the nose and mouth (I would expect tears to also be infectious, but tears don't spread easily enough to really matter), so if you cover them up, you get a degree of protection equivalent to the effectiveness of that covering (well short of 100% in the case of non-sealing cloth masks, but still a lot better than people give them credit for). People can't rely on wearing a mask themselves to be safe from infection, but they can rely on infected people wearing masks to provide that safety. Where a- and pre-symptomatic transmission is such a big problem with this virus, the best course of action is therefore for everyone to wear a mask regardless of whether or not they're symptomatic, since it's all but impossible for anyone to know for certain that they aren't infectious.

As an added bonus, if both the infectious person and the healthy person are wearing a mask, those layers of protection do stack and reduce the transmission rate far below what you'd see with just one person wearing it. Even more reason to have as many people as possible wearing them. It's just the safest option for everyone involved.

Well, I've been out maybe half a dozen times since march, and the first few times I didn't have a mask to wear. We've got some now, so i have been.
