Adam Savage, the former co-host of the popular Discovery Channel show, Mythbusters, allegedly sexually abused his younger sister in the 1970s, even referring to himself as the "raping blob" according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday. The lawsuit was placed by Miranda Pacchiana. The 51-year-old claims this occurred during the ages of 7 and 10 while the two lived in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
The lawsuit states that Savage "would repeatedly rape Miranda Pacchiana and force oral sex upon her," adding that former television personality would force Pacchiana to "perform oral sex on him." At the time of this, Savage was between 9 and 12-years-old. The case goes on to say that Savage would disguise the rape as a game and would not allow his sister to leave room, going as far to anally rape her. In a statement she wrote on The Second Wound, Pacchiana shared that when she informed her family of what was going on, not much was placed on the severity of what had happened with her saying it almost felt as though they wanted to "brush my trauma under the rug." She continued, "I came to realize they viewed me as the problem for focusing on the abuse."

Adam Savages actions are completely and utterly all kinds of fucked up. He may have been 9-12 at the time, but even at that age you know what is wrong and what is right.

For the parents to sweep it under the rug and dismiss it? Fucked up in so many ways. That is sociopathic shit right there.

Some people are sexually active earlier than others. It's totally plausible.

While I hope that my sister gets the help she needs to find peace, this needs to end. For many years, she has relentlessly and falsely attacked me and other members of my family to anyone who will listen, Savage said. By spreading numerous untrue stories about us in pursuit of a financial bonanza, she has tortured our entire family and estranged herself from all of us. I will fight this groundless and offensive lawsuit and work to put this to rest once and for all.

I hope this is true. I honestly do. I only hope the absolute truth is revealed in the lawsuit. One of them is a fairly reprehensible human being, either way.

I'd lean on the side of insane money grubbing sister being more likely, but it's certainly possible for early puberty combined with a natural sociopath to produce such events. Regardless if true or not, pretty damn impossible to prove unless the parents/another relative are still alive to testify that it happened or there is some written record.
