Video is pretty graphic, the guy gets sucker punched then begs to be left alone as the dude beats him.

The Michigan rapper who shot a viral video of his brother slugging a white man inside a Macys department store spoke out for the first time Saturday, telling The Post they clearly heard the man call them the N-word.

FT Quay said his brother acted on instinct and that his violent reaction was spur of the moment.

And, yes, we made a petty joke and asked the guy was the shirt too little when he couldve asked me. He was just being funny, Quay said. And just the fact of the remark that he said that we all heard. And just, what else were we supposed to do? In this age and time, he didnt know what else to do. That was just his instinct.

He said the encounter started when his brother got the shirt, just picked it up. He didnt have it on physically. He just put it over his body. He asked him, Does this shirt look too little? And he politely said, Yes, and continued back on the phone with the remark, No one, just some nr.'

We are deeply saddened about the incident that took place on Monday as Macys Genessee Valley, as the safety of Macys customer and colleagues is our top priority, a Macys spokesperson told the outlet. Violence in the workplace of any kind is unacceptable. All the materials from the evening have been reviewed and it is clear that the attack was unprovoked.

I wonder if this is enough to keep him from being charged

If he actually said it and it was just the sucker punch I would get it(I don't condone it but I get it). But you don't wail on a defenseless man on the ground begging for mercy.

Be he clearly said something, but I doubt it was the N-Word. Like, why in the world would even a racist risk saying that to a guy that just showed you how big he was? It makes zero sense. Thats one of the guys involved in the incident, macys investigated, the man never said the n word.

If someone says they are going to do something horrible to you, your family and friends and / or your possessions in a legitimate threatening manner, it could very well happen and there are no other witnesses and you don't have any proof to show police, are you just going to let them walk away knowing they are thinking that and will act on it, or confront them about it, knowing it could escalate?
