and to think just a few months ago I was the one being clowned on for encouraging mask use and ppl telling me we dont really need them because the WHO/Health experts said so up until a week or two ago, when all the information available at the time ALWAYS indicated that some sort of barrier/protection was better than none XD

Fauci admitted they said no masks initially so that we wouldn't run out for doctors, nurses, etc.

They dont call the police because most retail workers are smart enough to realize they have spent 3 months working 40 hours a week through whats supposed to be contagious and deadly disease ever meanwhile no one in their communities are dying, thus they naturally stop giving a fuck what anyone else is doing when the death and destruction is not apparent in front of their faces but rather only on the TV screen

better version of a terribly written sentence: theyll start being turbo worrywarts like all of you posters, once the death and illness is actually palpable or visible to their own eyes/ears, as thus far it is not.

Most states, even with masks orders, don't have any force of law backing them, so there's nothing a store employee could likely do. "Violating store policy" isn't an arrestable offense; management can ask you to leave and police can mediate if it escalates to the antimasker refusing to leave private/corporate property, but the police would not proactively respond to someone flauting health protocols.

In Maryland, for instance, the governor's order has required masks for months, but he specifically said that there would not be legal enforcement of it.

I have seen it only at place like Dollar General, 7-Eleven,
