Walked out my front door Friday evening to go for a walk, and there were a bunch of Kroger bags sitting right there at my door. Nobody around. I think to myself, "That's weird..." and wondered if maybe they were my neighbor's (across the hall) and they just ran back to their car or something.

I take my walk, about 20 minutes, and the groceries are still there. At first I was going to just move them away from my door, but then it occurred to me I should refrigerate stuff. So I ended up bringing all the groceries inside.

I looked in the bags and found a Kroger receipt, but nothing else. No third party info. But there was a line item for "Delivery fee" so I realized it was that sort of mistake. I called the Kroger (they do deliver themselves) and they said at that location they don't actually deliver, they only have instacart for that service.

Instacart said basically the person most likely already got refunded their money, and they wouldn't be able to do anything to help me track them down anyway.

I've posted on my community bulletin board, but I am not really expecting to hear anything.

I guess I'll just keep the food...

i was a manager at Amazon Fresh and one time I ordered Amazon Fresh but they didn't have the ice cream I wanted so I went in the freezer and found a pallet of it and stowed 1 to a bin so it would go back in stock then i added it to my order

Sounds accurate to me. Basically everything there is something for kids or something for a person who works out a ton.

It's the attempts at healthier snacking.

Plain cheerios, Granola Bars, Slim Fast mix, almonds, brown rice. All stuff my mom has gotten at points. The "tastier but healthier" thing. Those aren't really junk food.

Yeah, what MZero listed are typically seen as healthy. It's not perfect, but I imagine junk food to be more like...Spam and Easy Mac and stuff.

I mean yeah junk food is strong, but all this food is nutritionally sterile (besides the oranges and almonds I guess) it's just a weird thing to apply to a "health nut"

I feel like it's a pretty straight forward statement? This isn't food that will sustain you. There's not much source of nutrition in any of the items listed
