Does it seem like the protester was trying to jostle the cop? Like at the beginning? It's kind of hard to tell.
What is not hard to tell is that the cop purposely stops and then his cop buddies jump in the guy. Was the protester charged? I'll be he was and I bet the charges were insane like assault on a peace officer. --- I know, indeed, the evil of that I purpose; but my inclination gets the better of my judgment. - Euripides ... Not if it's an instinctual reaction. Hell, the Supreme Court has ruled thay people do have a situational right to resist arrest when a person has a reasonable fear for their life or safety. And in a case where you face a sudden, unreasonable use of excessive force, there is absolutely a reasonable fear in that immediate, instinctual response. And even with careful rational thinking, being arrested runs the risk of the cops kneeling on his neck for 9 minutes until he dies. So there's always reasonable fear of death, so resisting arrest is always justifiable self-defense. --- 96065 ... Copied to Clipboard!

But he was resisting!, after the cop forced contact and a team of cops jumped on him. Your issue should be with the forced contact, yet you conveniently brush off what caused the incident and focus on the resisting. And no. Shouting near a cop isnt illegal.

Determining when and when not to engage should be considered safety training for cops. I remember a story I heard about a vet that was making food for people at a park after some hurricane. Cop rolls up, tells him he's gotta go, what he's doing is illegal. The vet holds his hands out to motion to be cuffed, then puts them behind his back. The cop basically tells him that the guy taking over his shift might not be so understanding, and to just be gone by his shift change, and leaves. That choice saved his life, because the guy had a weapon in the back of his waistband, and would have killed that cop. Not every situation requires engagement. --- Posted with GameRaven 3.5.2 ... It's wartime. Protestors need to be war ready. Don't put yourself in a situation where police can abuse their power and arrest you. Stick close to the group. And the group must be prepared to defend their rights
Those cops are scumbags though. Under my reforms all involved would be immediately fired and imprisoned for assault and violating that protestors first degree rights and fourth degree rights. There would be heavy penalties for law enforcement officials when it comes to violating these constitutional rights. I'm talking penalties of up to 25 years, just for violating these rights if proven and convicted --- https://youtu.be/8Cvjr2zDvYU - 24/7 Farrakhan Radio ... Copied to Clipboard!

Cop clearly didn't stop to get the protester to walk into him. Protester clearly walked behind the cop from a side position in which the cop couldn't see he crossed behind him. Protester clearly accidentally bumped the police officer. Police clearly began to arrest the man thinking he hit the officer. Protester clearly resisted the arrest.
Analysis. It was an accident. He wouldn't have been forcefully detained at the end if he hadn't resisted. If he hadn't resisted, he would have likely been let go as they sorted it out and realized the accident. Resisting is a crime. However, he will likely be let off when reviewing it became more obvious it was just an accident. --- Xbox Live User Name - Corrik Currently playing: Spider-Man (PS4), Quantum Break (X1) ...
