You know what I noticed about Battle Divas? The amount of gems they give you is bunz :<

Every single game I've played gave you at least SOME premium currency on a somewhat regular basis. BD gives like 100 weekly for doing 15 invasions; not sure about anything else. And when you consider how expensive pulls are... Even FGO gives out like 5 SQ per week which can be used for a single pull, plus they give pretty generous amounts for events. With BD you need to save forever :((

Yeah as soon as my monthly pass stopped, it was amazing how slow the gem intake was. I dunno what to feel about receiving them in inconsistent pace via various events. I'd rather just receive like a 100 every day i.e. PAD giving 1 a day, though a single roll in PAD is worth more than a single roll in any gacha I've ever seen

Yeah, I definitely noticed this too. Unless there's some kind of big log-in giveaway (like a couple of weeks ago) or you have the monthly pass going, your gem input comes to a screeching halt. It's another reason why I'm leaning towards dropping Battle Divas, and I really want to stick with it because I appreciate the character designs and the gameplay a lot, but there are so many other things that just make it tough to enjoy.

I already reinstalled and got back into Revue Starlight ReLIVE, so it's not like I'll have a big void left behind without it either.

So yeah I checked and the only concrete gem source is the 100 gems per week which is from doing 15 bounties. And when a 10-pull costs nearly 3,000...

Also, I find it really odd that arena doesnt give gems be it for winning or just participating. Gems are the only reason I force myself to do PvP in these games.

There's also a small Battlefield Supply chest (AKA 1 single pull from the standard banner) each day for completing the assist missions, and that's it. That's some absolutely horrendous output in terms of how many pulls you get each week, and most of the few pulls you do get can't even be put towards an actual banner to try and pull a specific character.

I guess tbf you can use the honors to get a weapon of your choice, but as I've discovered, the really important set weapons are locked to 50k. I've been doing good and still have ~35k since release, so their expectation of us maintaining our interest in the game was a bit too high

still mostly farming OP from Challenge stages for Blaze/Nian, at 38 rolls now. I did end up rolling on the new banner today and got Pramanix in 4 rolls, which I guess is a positive result.

/revue/ just got eliminated from the /vg/ league after they lost 3-0 to a bunch of commies. They had a good run though, being the only gacha game team and the only first-year team to reach the knockout stage. I should watch more of these silly virtual divegrass games.

but anyways, Dark being overpowered has been kind of a meme for the past 6
-9 months or so in Granblue. The tier list https://imgur.com/a/lrQr3qa kind of shows it, though it's actually a lot more biased in favor of Dark than it looks since characters are rated in-tier only (ie a 10 rating in Dark is worth more than a 10 rating in other elements)

Last night I learned that Magia Record's challenge quests (harder versions of the normal story quests) were another source of magia stones in the game that I hadn't touched. I spent six hours today grinding through seven chapters worth of these challenge quests and got enough magia stones to do two more 10-rolls in one last desperate attempt to get the final slot for Ultimate Madoka... and it worked! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go have a tea party with my 4-slot goddess before I go to bed.

Cats the Commander is pretty fun though in terms of killing time. Kinda sad that the gacha system is so shit. You get such a pittance of gems. You don't even get enough for a 10 pull early on; it takes FOREVER. And for some reason, they made it so that banners stay for only 2 or 3 days at a time. Not just rate up; they go away for a while after those few days <_<

Nier collab. Having 2B and A2 in a gacha is pretty much my only hype since I was super late to the FFBE party :<

I mean the gameplay looks decent enough, but the main thing is the Nier stuff. And it helps that that event is only like 2 weeks after release :3

Not that it helped much. Spent about 8k gems and got three rainbows, all spooks. Two of those were Wonderland Rino, who's both new and someone I wanted. Third was Kasumi dupe.

Sad to be probably the only one still playing BDSM (in retrospect they did this shit on purpose because the name of the global version is different from the CN/KR/JP version). But I got a tier 30+ with a Sigurd one man carry, and I finally finished Helen's set. She basically does a non-penetrating (basically max 4 targets, 1 per row) free def break damage to the entire map towards where she's facing if she's in the range of attacking somebody. Pretty good little bonus, nothing crazy gamebreaking like most of the gacha sets.

Beat Ch 12 finally, got Helen to 3*. I guess I have a hard time quitting games, but there is actual progress happening, so I feel a little justified

Eh, I still have it installed, but to what end I don't know.

It's only two events so far have been ass for newbies/non-whales, I don't get much out of doing sub level 14 Infinite Wars nearly every week, I'm never getting out of silver rank for PVP, and I've been farming mod chips/gear essence for weeks now trying to get stronger *somehow* because it turns out locking character progression to their available weapons is fucking awful when you're perpetually stuck at 2-3*.

I think the only highlight recently was getting Celeste's maid costume, only to then be disappointed that it doesn't change her appearance on the home screen like Sarah's cheerleader one did. Vloody hell, Arknights at least gave you new profile art along with changing the battle sprite, and BD can't use the excuse "but our larger art is animated" when there's less than two dozen characters and I *know* they've got tons of whale money, and if it ain't going towards gameplay, it damn well might as well be going towards cosmetics.

Bleh, I think the honeymoon is over for me.

Yeah there are ways around it all but none of them are particularly pleasant. I would say the easiest way to really power up is to do the 3x3 missions that gives you Sarah's weapon and set. Then you have to do the core weapon runs for Sarah. Hers is really easy though you'd need to figure out a reliable way to break her. Imo she does either the 2nd best or 3rd best dmg in my entire roster, but she wants her ult up ASAP. Aside from all that, she is the most reliable 4* you can get without gacha luck
