Always waiting for sales. You can't develop a backlog by getting one game at a time for $60.

I only buy things when I want something.
So no, the concept doesn't make any sense to how I purchase products.

Absolutely! The more I can save on things I need, the more is left for things I want.

No. I don't spend a lot of money, but that's mostly because I don't buy a lot of stuff and my cost of living is really low.

I rarely buy anything at full price. Only if I'm in a hurry. It's all thrift stores, grocery whole sale/discount type places, Craigslist, and other online discount sites/apps.

Mostly. I always look for the cheapest price on a item I plan on buying. I'm not against paying a bit more for something better though.
I find it to be logical to not pay more for the same item. One time I was going to buy a winter coat for 30. In the store however I found one nice winter coat that I always get compliments on, a jacket and a nice shirt all on sale really cheap. These items collectively cost me 25. It seems like a no brainier to me. I do enjoy sales!

If I want to buy something I buy it. If I don't want it I don't buy it. I ignore sales.

I'd rather the price of something dissuade me from buying it than have an item on sale convince me to get something I don't need.

I don't apply this logic to buying steam games... and my steam account is worth $3000...

That's only if you bought those games at full price. The calculator doesn't calculate sales.

Sales can influence my purchasing decision as long as it's something I already want. Like instead of getting 2 bags of X chips I may end up getting 3 bags of doritos on sale.

Depends on what the item is.
This for me. Items that are $100-200+ and I do not need anytime soon, I tend to wait for 20%+ off before buying em. Also depends on whether or not said item(s) regularly goes on sales. I know REI has at least three major sales a year and members can use 20% off coupons on one item. I wait on my big purchases until these sales. Certain items like computer hardware, I might not wait around as much. I will buy em when I plan to upgrade and might not upgrade again until several years later.

Oh yeah!
When it comes to luxury items like games and movies, I use Ebay and second hand stores a lot.
Gifts for other people I typically buy new, but I'll still price match to an extent.
Grocery store shopping, I'm mostly a bargain shopper. I'm not picky so store brand is great, but I'll take advantage of sales and either get stuff I don't normally get, or I get more of it or I'm getting something "higher" quality.

It helps me save money so when insurance is due, holidays are around, etc., I can spend money on it but not fret.
I try not to stress about money much, but rather have a decent handle on it and healthy habits.
