this is the same network + group of shows that decided replacing the main character of a series with an entirely new character, when every other character in that show is directly related to the original main character in some form, (including the main antagonist whose goal is solely connected to said main character and would make zero sense for her to still be a villain if there was a different protagonist) instead of simply recasting her is a good idea

Batwoman.

Ruby Rose who plays Kate Kane/Batwoman is leaving the show after season 1, and instead of just recasting her they're replacing her with a new character that becomes Batwoman.

For the record, the major characters in season 1 are as follows

Jacob Kane - her father and head of the private police company in Gotham
Mary - her stepsister and a doctor
Alice - main antagonist, Kate's twin sister
Sophie - her ex-girlfriend who works for Jacob
Julia Pennyworth - Alfred's daughter but also Kate's other ex
Luke Fox - Lucius Fox's son, no direct relation to Kate - only character in the show like that, really

Also not a major character on screen but Bruce Wayne is heavily referenced and is Kate's cousin.

Yeah...the whole show only works (if it does) because it's closely connected to Batman. Having some random hippie who lives in her van (I read an article just now about it) replacing a character with experience and a close connection to the Batman mythos seems.......................

Misguided. I said in the post above, too, I bet they're trying behind the scenes to get Ruby Rose involved again, which is why they stopped short of a hard recast.

Worth noting, Ruby does most, if not all of her own stunts and had several injuries, at least one of which was serious.

That's possible, but my guess is the writers are much happier to slip in their original totally not a mary sue fanficiton character into the leading role now they have a chance to not be beholden to the comics in any way. Why else go original when they have a few other lady bat characters they could use.

Arrow is over, but The Flash still has the majority of its original cast (last I saw anyway).

Only a small number of people have bowed out from The Flash, with Cisco, Barry, Joe, Iris, Caitlyn, and Wells (in all his forms) still appearing regularly.

I barely kept track of all the ins and outs. I haven't watched the series recently. Is Ray still there? I assume he and Sara are the original two you're referring to.

No. Unfortunately Ray "retired." Brandon Routh, the actor, did not want to leave. But he was one of the most costly actors on the set (had fame before he started) and was a package deal with his wife who played Nora Darhk. But he added the most of any character, IMO, and his absence is felt.
Mick Rory and Sara Lance remain. Zari and Nate, who joined later, have also remained with the cast. Rip, Jax, Stein, Snart, Hawkgirl (thank Beebo), and Wally have all come and gone.

Wow I am glad I stopped watching that. ..Also Hawkgirl was horrible .

The last time I think I saw it , was when I randomly check in on it and they were muppets . I didn't stay on long . Heck I remember all those shows use to be must watch. And they all just kept falling a part.

When Blond girl took Arrows house, that was the last season of Arrow I watched.
And I stopped watching Flash when people gave him shit for sending Nora back home. She is literally responsible for people's death and she is working with teh guy who killed Barry's mom. Yeah I didn't stop watching right there didn't even finish the season. And like I said to me personally is is sad since I use to love them all so much .

I know it's reactionary, but my point is if they "fired" him and then just quietly hired him back and if anybody asks say "he went to tolerance training" the outcome would basically be the same as far as the mob is concerned (because they forget so fast) but his life would be way less fucked.

During an appearance at AAA Triplemania in Mexico City last month, AEWs Cody Rhodes joined AAA stalwart Psycho Clown and a debuting former UFC champion Cain Velasquez in leading the crowd in a [homophobic word] chant following their match.

Mexican sports has a storied history with the anti-gay chant. The countrys soccer federation has incurred fine after fine from FIFA due to the chants use, though the cost of the infractions amounted to little more than a slap on the wrist. The last fine levied against Mexico Soccer, a paltry $10,000, came in 2018.

The chants use should come as no surprise to regular viewers of Psycho Clown. The masked luchador regularly leads the crowd in the chant during matches at events for AAA and various other organizations across Latin America.

Following the match, Psycho Clown appeared to call his two partners together in the ring and convinced them to participate in the chant, complete with theatrics. A clip of the three leading the chant was included in episode four of AEWs Road To All Out series on All Elite Wrestlings official YouTube channel.

Cody Rhodes has been in like 3 episodes of the Arrowverse. Also Arrow finished its last season already.
