She's going a mile a minute, mostly to herself, which is probably for the best for stealth purposes. Something about chain summoning, which seems promising. She doesn't seem to be playing with a full deck, but hey neither are you really, and she seems to know what she's talking about, so maybe she can pull it off. Anyway, you have a bit of time to stand around awkwardly while she flits about the shop. Just you, her, Slip, and the cranky-looking owner.

1) Mind your business
2) Ask him why everybody's so tense
3) Ask him if he knows a good space to stay and/or build stuff
4) Ask him what his problem is

"They caught a couple of them Grail War types outside a bit ago. Got away though. Shame." He looks you and Agatha up and down.

1) "QUITE a shame!"
2) "Grail War?"
3) "We don't like the Grail War here?"
4) "Excuse me sir, I AM a Grail War type!"
5) "What were they like?"
6) "Oh huh. Say, d'you know where a couple of folks could set up a mad science workshop?"
7) "Oh huh. Say Agatha, I think we have to get going to that thing we're going to."

He squints at you for a bit, but notices how much stuff Agatha has picked up to buy. How does she carry all of that at the same time, anyway? "There's an old schoolhouse that got shut down. Don't know what's going on there these days, but most people leave it alone. Most importantly, it's not anywhere near here." You thank him and pay. Agatha seems happy with the haul.

As you're leaving the area, you hear a loud noise from the general direction of the shop. Maybe an explosion?

Rider smiled to themselves. Maybe they had botched their carefully laid plan, but now they had to fight, and they had to admit that a small part of them missed it. Rider's opponent was laughably slow, but...squishy? Rider rained blows on them, but they didn't seem to be dealing much lasting damage. Two other people had come onto the scene- they looked like they were ready for a fight, but the one taking point seemed to be having a hard time dealing with the snow that had suddenly started to cover the area. Rider couldn't immediately discern their intentions, but the voice in their head wanted blood, and so did the rules of the Grail War. Rider kicked themselves away from their prey, intending to test the newcomer....but a shot rang out, piercing him in mid-air. Rider landed awkwardly, but returned fire, landing a couple of minor hits.

Rider's Master had not lain idle, either. They had called out to the first opposing Master, and it appeared they were planning to team up. The squishy Servant fired a bolt that narrowly missed the newcomer, and Rider backed them up with covering fire.

(And then Tom had to take a break from running this scene to do other stuff. In the meantime, is this remotely followable or should I give up and start calling the other two Servants by their classes?)

(how about I nickname 'em for this scene? This is a threeway fight between....let's call 'em Rider, Squishy, and Newcomer, and their [presumable] Masters. To recap for anybody confused, Rider attacked Squishy, Newcomer showed up and attacked both, and now the first two are teaming up on Newcomer, and nobody's gotten super seriously hurt yet. And it's snowing.)

Rider kept up their assault, landing more glancing hits on Newcomer. A lightning bolt thundered down, landing a direct and brutal hit. Newcomer screamed in pain, their Master immediately using a Command Spell to help them survive. Rider slowly outflanked them, firing more attacks into their body. Newcomer fell, but did not dissolve, and the action slowed. Squishy's Master seemed reluctant to order Squishy to finish Newcomer. Seeing this, Rider's Master proposed flipping for the honors. Squishy's Master thought about this for a moment, and shook their head. They approached Squishy and talked softly with them, as Newcomer's Master tried to rally their injured Servant.

Squishy and Master walked slowly towards Newcomer and Master....and then turned back towards Team Rider and attacked! The attack landed, but Rider simply took the blow, weapon raised. Rider deployed their Noble Phantasm.

Hm. Interesting.

Sounds like maybe gunfire coming from back in the direction of the explosion, but that sounds like a good reason NOT to go check stuff out. You press onward, following the directions given, listening to Agatha think out loud. You arrive at the abandoned schoolhouse, and it....sure is an abandoned schoolhouse. It's getting near evening, which enhances the general spookiness of the deserted-looking, boarded up place. You don't notice anybody around, or any footsteps in the still-flurrying snow.

The Horcrux part is what's throwing me because that should definitely be a link to Voldemort but ???

(Not likely to matter from now on but maybe you'd rather speculate)

Voldemort was in Shadow's head, kinda like (what I remember of) Quirrell. Shadow had to make an increasingly difficult check every time he did something evil or took damage, or Voldemort would take over. Shadow was pretty much permanently "gone" once Voldy took over, and then Voldy died on top of that.
