Welcome to the 4th annual PiOverlord best CEer Tournament! This year, the champion of CE will be crowned the CEer nominee for President of the Social Boards of GameFAQs (SBG for short). That's right, I am running this tournament on the Poll of the Day and Random Insanity board as well for the first time! While those tournaments will be shorter due to the size of those boards, they will begin at some point. In the end, the three nominees will be put on the ballot on Election day and you the people will use your vote to determine the President of the SBG (don't take it too seriously, this is all in good fun).

Now here is some information that I hope you all read, general information about the tournament. More rules/info can be implemented later on.

Nomination process:

WHEN NOMINATING, PLEASE @ THE PERSON SO THEY ARE MADE AWARE OF THEIR NOMINATION! If you are nominated for this tournament, your silence will be considered an acceptance of your nomination and intent to run. You must decline to be removed from the ballot. Once you are nominated for one party, you cannot run under another party. You can nominate anyone, but please use common sense. If you are nominating for the CEer party, do not nominate some person who is not a CEer. I typically will not allow anyone who hasn't been active in the year we are doing a tournament also, so nominate a 2020 poster, please. Additionally, you may choose to nominate yourself. Only one nomination is required for someone to be put on the ballot. You may only have one account in this contest, no alts or otherwise. If the panel for the respective party decides to vote to disallow any account, and a majority vote is casted, then that poster will be removed from the tournament. I also reserve the right to remove any poster and alter any contests that are made.

Voting process:

Everyday there will be an election between two candidates for their respective representing area. We do not want voter fraud to determine the nominee of the party. There are three different ways of voting that will attempt to allow participation while keeping the integrity of the tournament, please read and understand how each will work:

Polling:

• This is the basic way that allows everyone a chance to vote. Let your voice be heard! We have used this method in the past tournaments, and in this election, it serves as your ballot. Simply, pick between the two candidates and submit your vote. This will be IP locked to reduce voter fraud, and proof will be shown of this.

Posting:

• This is extremely important. I am going to open up a board that anyone can read, but only a few can post in. You must ask for permission to join this board and the panel for the party will decide if you are allowed in. You may join at any point in the tournament, but it's best if you ask to be put on the list NOW! There will be a topic corresponding to the election that is going on with the Poll/Ballot and you will be asked to state who you are voting for out of the two candidates. This is public knowledge, which means you must be comfortable letting the CEople know your affiliation.

Panel:

• This is similar to the posting vote, but it will be private and much more exclusive. A select few members will be selected to serve on the CE Panel. This panel will consist of 8 members who have the power to call for special votes to change o

It should be noted, I will be asking questions as always to candidates. These will range from "get-to-know you," silly, and scenario type questions. You are not required to answer any questions, and if you want, you only have to answer a few of them.

OBS records your screen
You have the gamefaqs topic creation page on side
You have the atomic clock page on the other
windows button with left or right as needed to make them

then record it
then save the thing then upload it and add it in as an edit that it shows you making the topic from the ce homepage to finishing it including the ip address only vote
remember what oddities you encounter because if we have a fallback as i defended it before then I need to know what happened to I can go to Devin to fix this. Year 3 failed because of mass hackings of your votes. We need to make sure it can't happen

Alright, sounds fair enough. I removed you from the list so far! Thanks for helping out. There are 42 people so far. I might not have a limit this year as long as it isn't something crazy like 500 contestants. Usually I stop it at 128, but I'm feeling kinda energetic right now about this year. I feel like this will be the start of a good thing if this works right.

For those on the panel, don't feel like you can't participate. Only rule is you can't vote in the panel vote for your own matchup since that has a heavy weight to it.
