I think he actually is trying to tie today being a great day for equality into the jobs numbers, adds in an aside about how the National Guard has done so well when they are called in, and then invokes George Floyd looking down and having a great day because he sees the jobs numbers and the National Guard doing work and realizes that means we now have equal protection under the law?

I really cant make his word salad coherent

I think those are all different tangents. He is talking about equality for him looking down. That everyone should be treated equally or something.

Dont put them out there if you dont want them to do the job, Evans wrote in a text to Investigative Post. This is an example of officers doing exactly what theyre supposed to and then getting charged. Its so wrong.

This is essentially how I feel, however if people want to say it, I'm not going to argue with it. I just won't use the phrase myself. Playing semantics with people just to distract from the issue, which is still the Police as a whole.

I was actually discussing this with my friend earlier. I think the whole movement sort of has that sort of issue. Which is how All Lives Matter got started. It was a result of people not understanding what was going on. It was not communicated/taught very well at all, but I do think people are starting to understand now.

Frankly, I think "All Cops Are Bad" is a very reasonable take from the angle of "You cannot be a good cop in such a fucked up system" and "Assuming that a cop isn't bad can very easily cost you your life or at the very least get you seriously injured or arrested for total bullshit (unless you're not a minority and not poor)"

This is getting absurd. NYPD has thousands or tens of thousands of officers because of the large population; of course there are going to be bad things that happen there. If every individual officer who disapproved of some of those things quit NY would be left without police or with only bad police. The only way to fix that would be to divide NYC into many smaller cities, each with their own police department. Then some could be good simply by virtue of statistics.

This is like saying everyone registered as a Democrat is a bad person because Hillary won the Dem nomination. If you were a good person you'd publicly burn your party membership card to let everyone know that you don't support Hillary!
