PK_Spam 05/24/20 8:15:29 AM #1:	Doesnt want to work His job suspected him of having covid because he told them that our other housemate had a cold for some reason Hasn't worked in a month. Does the bare minimum to follow up with his supervisors. Calls maybe once a week to see if theyll let him in, but he knows their office is a mess and they never pick up the phone or call back. All he does all day is sit in his room playing video games. I keep telling him to go on unemployment, that way he can at least sit back and do nothing while getting paid for a bit, so he wouldnt have to feel bad about it. But hed rather just sit and bitch about being broke! Ive been telling him that Ill help him file for benefits, that Ill just do it FOR him, and hes not taking me up on this offer. I dont understand why hes being this self-destructive. He seriously hasnt done ANYTHING in 1 month, its nuts. The problem was that because I wasnt working/had no contracts the roommate felt like he shouldnt have to do his part. Like it was a relationship or something. So dumb. As long as he pays rent and helps clean up his portion of the place I dont see an issue. In the end, it still doesn't matter until bills are due and he can't pay. Once that happens, it's a problem. But not until it actually happens... Even with a pain flare up I'd make an effort to literally do so if that's what it took. Then again I'm not exactly 'lazy' by choice.
