I need to buy a bunch of cedar saplings too, and I won't be able to until tomorrow, delaying my tree plans to 4 days out...

Thanks for the offer, but I won't be able to play until after the shops close today. I think what I'll do is simply move cedar trees I already have and plant the saplings in their place. It shouldn't be too much trouble.

There's rumored to be a 3rd shop upgrade that they're going to release with an update like the museum. Hopefully the 3rd update just makes the shop open 24/7.

From what I remember, you had to have spent a certain amount of money, have Able Sisters open, and have a minimum number of days pass.

Most everyone has already fulfilled the first two requirements, so it was just a waiting game. It's basically, "when did your Nooks open?" that's determining when people are getting the upgrade.

It's 30 days after Nook's Cranny first opened, provided you've bought/sold 200k worth of bells.

I was pretty disappointed to see the upgrade only added one additional furniture item per day. There's more cabinet stuff but I ain't spending that many bells on tools that still break

I think moving a building on patterns makes the patterns revert back to grass.

I went to my first upgraded shop and bought all those and no regrets. The colorful fishing rod lure is sooo cute.

I'm having a meteor shower right now and have wished on more than 60 stars in a little over 10 minutes jesus. Typing with one hand to press A! If it ever stops for a minute will open up gate. Saharah is here too.

E: oh there's server maintenance coming up. well I'm about to hit 200 stars wished on good god

More will wash up over time, but it won't be anywhere near the amount of times you're wishing. Don't know if dataminers have examined the exact mechanics of this yet. I would say you can probably cut off at 50 in one night and be fine, once you're done with the Nook Miles goal.

Is it just me, or is the spawn rate for the tree spider way low. I get bagworms at night more often than the spider.

Yeah I think I've only seen like 10 or a few more spiders this whole game but I see bagworms all the time. One thing I've noticed though: if you find money in your trees, there's always a spider, bagworm, wasp or piece of furniture nearby.

I understand the feeling. Bob was my favourite in my GCN town and I was never able to obtain him again until this game. Im pretty sure I have Cookies amiibo card so I might be able to help you out by scanning her into my town, then replacing her with a different card when you have an empty house.

I don't think there's always been one, but my fiancee has been getting stuff that's 100k+ fairly regularly since she got the shop.
