Been looking for a good rhythm game. Been getting into Cytus II which is mobile, I think Rayark is the popular company for rhythm games these days? They seemed to have mostly died off on console. PC had OSU but idk how long that was popular.

Beat Saber is costly. A lot depends on what kind of music or the mechanics.

Hatsune Miku, DJ Max, Persona Dancing, Deemo, of course GH or Rock Band. There's a number of them that I've gotten.

Oh yeah, DJMAX rules too, RESPECT V just came out of early access recently, it's worth a grab!

This.

Frequency and Amplitude are great

Special nod to Rayman Legends music levels. Those are absolutely genius and fun, but the game overall is not a rhythm game

Played Respect over the winter break. Wish the DLC wasn't so expensive, the packs cost like an extra $100+ so I had to pass. Good to know another is on the way.

There's Taiko Drum Master if you want something unique. Had to import the drum/game from Playasia but works fine on my PS4.

Osu is by far my favourite, but that's a hard one to top because of the sheer volume of content and the fact that it's free (though I did buy a drawing tablet for it). I haven't played in ages, though. I've tried picking it up again a couple times, but it's hard to get back into it when I'm so much worse now than I was at my prime.

Um Jammer Lammy, of course. PS1, not sure what else it might be available for now, but definitely Vita, PSP, and PS3 B/C

If you can get beat saber for PC it's not too expensive.

It used to be $20 on PS4 VR, and there are a some free songs that were added, more than enough to make it a blast and worth the money.

If you do spend money on extra songs, pic and choose em (watch videos online) as some are totally not worth it.

My favorite songs are still all original ones that came with the game (for ps4).

I don't have it on PC, but if you get it on that, you can have TONS of songs for no cost. Problem is you need a pc that will run VR/Occulus (I think you can use the quest as well though now), which is costly, and then the occulus (or quest) is expensive as well, so yeah, the cost is alot.

IF you just want psvr though and already have a ps4, you can get a used PSVR setup for less than $100 now, and I think it's still 20 for the base game. That is still a bit, but there are other cool things to play on PSVR as well, so could be worth it.
