Youre on home lock down for a month. First day in, the Internet goes down for the entire town. Mobile Internet grinds to a halt with everyone trying to log on. Whats next?

I applaud the effort, but youre never going to watch those. I watched about 60% of the series when it was on the SciFi Channel and even though its on Hulu I still cant bring myself to finish it. I think if all I had were those dvds and a tv then Id probably end up taking the tv apart and teaching myself tv/vcr repair.
Lol, well I bought this like four or five years ago and have barely started the first few episodes.

I just remember watching it on Sci-Fi as a kid and I liked the episodes I saw, just thought the premise was weird as shit.

Oh yeah. I watched the hell out of it when it was on the Sci-Fi Channel. I even watched the 70s era movies and some of that reboot show. But I just cant make myself sit down and watch the series again even though the only thing I remember is Barnabus, Angelaic, and the time travel plot. And that a werewolf shows up way later in the series, I think. I feel the same way about Lost in Space. Id watch the hell out of it when it was on USA, but I just cant sit through an episode now (and it has nothing to do with the camp.)

I think it has to do with episode pacing. Things are paced so much faster now days that when you go back to a show from the 60s where theyre just staring at a wall for three minutes then it can be tough to push through an entire series of that.

I experienced that pacing issue with the original Hawaii 5-0. Also loved that as a kid (especially that weird ass carrot alien episode). Tried to watch the pilot a few years ago and it was rough. A full hour for a story that had virtually nothing interesting going on. I think the plot was this bad guy was trying to escape on a cruise, or he was on a cruise, or something. There was no action, the writing wasn't very... intelligent or deep, things just kind of happened and people talked and then they tackled him and that was that.
