I like the DQ series, and I even got the platinum trophy for the PS4 version of DQXI... but Sky SC is the better game, in my opinion. It's a shame that it's getting destroyed like this, but I can at least appreciate the fact that DQ is getting some recognition now.

Funimation announced it has exclusive rights to Kaguya: Love is War S2. It also has plans to dub both seasons shortly but didn't give a window. Granted, having watched the sub for S1 I'd be sticking with it anyway but don't know if that changes your plans any, Leon.

For Funimation, I was under the impression all their dubbing was on hold with the coronavirus stuff, though maybe that's not the case?

Well, the S2 sub simulcast should still be starting in April AFAIK. So if you want to watch it live/asap I think you're with the sub in the short-term. I jus figured the dub info would be of interest to you. I didn't even see casting info for the dub in their announcement so while they made it sound like it wouldn't be too long I wonder.

And yeah, I was holding out some hope Walking Dead could turn this around when it was 50.5-49.5 when I went to sleep but welp.

I think you are mixing up the Ignore User feature with the Block User feature. Ignore user means you can't see the other person's posts and you can't post in their topics. Block User means they can't see your posts and they can't post in your topics.

Anyone here played the Civilization games? Looking for something to do during quarantine and have a bit of an urge to play one of these games again. Does anyone know what the best option from the series to purchase is now? (In particular, I see the newest one has DLC that would double the price of the game, but at a glance I have no idea how relevant any of it is)

For reference, I played Civ 3 and Civilization Revolution a while ago but haven't touched the series since. So, I'm relatively familiar with how the game system works (unless there's been any major changes), if that impacts how you frame recommendations or whatever.

I like 6 quite a lot, but if price worries you and you can pick up 5 with all the expansions for relatively cheap, I think thats probably the way to go. basically civ 5 w/ all expansions > civ 6 w/ all expansions > civ 6 base > civ 5 base.

At the end of the day I'm not that worried about price. I don't want to needlessly spend $60 more than I have to, but my financial situation is comfortable enough that I'd probably be fine spending that much more on an experience that is slightly better.

That being said, it looks like Civ 5 with all DLC is less expensive than base Civ 6 right now, and based on what you're saying it seems like that is a better experience or at least comparable to Civ 6 with all DLC. Looks like I might go with Civ 5 then.

Ok stealing this topic since I gotta rant.

I'm trying to beat AAI but the game is not helping.

I start playing then suddenly... Oldbag.

Then Meekins.

Then Larry.

Then more Oldbag.

It's a parade of overused comic relief characters from the main trilogy. Every time I think the game is getting exciting it throws one of those at me and it loses all the tempo again. Then I just close the emulator and come back a week later.

Whoever thought Oldbag appearing twice in the same game was a good idea needs to get fired.
