Like there is this girl in the Fire Force manga whose entire character revolves around accidentally hitting her boobs on people's faces/hands every time she appears. The west can't stand her, the Japanese love her.

For all Japan creates amazing media, they surely have a questionable taste for the things for the things they make themselves.

How far into Camelot are you?

Yeah, I figured I'd take a shot at rolling a bit on this banner and got really lucky. 5 Tickets and 2 10-rolls and I got Ana. (Though since the great Shiki roll literally depleted me that still worked out to half of what I had built up since lol)

As for Camelot I just beat Mordred and Tristan at the Holy City. Mordred was a pain again under my silly self-restriction of taking the Story Supports over Friend Supports (if I took, say, Merlin as a Friend Support I'd have laughed to victory) but I eventually was able to strat it out with having to resort to any Command Seals. Though not without a troll attempt where Mordred was left at like 300 HP (out of like 475,000) before finally taking down MVP Fujino, and another where two stacked DEF buffs on the last turn denied me a win. Tristan remained a loser who holds the dishonorable distinction of being the only Knight of the Round Table who I've beaten on the first attempt both times (i. e. with little to no prep, just my regular party with no modifications made to account for specific match-ups/opponents, though I did suspect the rematch was coming but all I did was move Saber Shiki to the back of my lineup as a secret weapon/reserve in case the node had trash mobs first but then I won without her having to do anything lol.)

Yeah Tristan's one of the easiest. I found Mordred the hardest fight in Camelot overall, though the last fight is fairly challenging too.

Looks like you're pretty close to the end! There's an event coming up in a few months that requires part 1 completion, but you shouldn't have any trouble finishing part 1 by then. Hope you're enjoying Camelot's story too!

I started playing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. I'm still not a huge fan of DK being the only playable character with the other ones basically only acting as powerups. I can't deny that it's aesthetically well made though and the level design is solid. It doesn't seem to have as many frustrating features as Returns did (which I never finished), but I've only finished the first world so far, so there's plenty of time to squeeze them in!

I did finish all the light world levels in World 3 in Super Meat Boy. I tried doing the dark world levels but I eventually got stuck and that's what led me to play DKC since I needed something lighter and less punishing!

I'm usually not juggling this many games at once, so this is weird to me!

Ok yeah. Finally caught up on FFXIV and Shadowbringers is definitely the best FF game of the decade, and top tier FF in general. Everything is so good. Story, characters, music, dungeons, battles. All incredible.

oh my god its gawain. i knew this was coming and was dreading his return. he's lucky i like him. but we're indoors i'm calling bullshit on his gift being in effect. I can probably come up with a workable strat but I didn't feel like it tonight. I'll consider workshopping something tomorrow and worst case I'll just blow him up with command seals again. >_> Mordred strat won't work without modifications I think because at least in the one fight I had with him he was stacking buffs like a champ and they actually last so Fujino can't just totally tank everything outside his NP at all times (and with mordred she could even tank that decently with her damage cut buff. and mitigate it really well with Mash's buff stacked on top of that.)

Jeeze, Doordash's pricing structure gives pretty screwed up incentives. They give new accounts 30 days of free delivery but it only applies to orders over 10 bucks, and there's already a $2 fee for orders under $10. I just had to add like five bucks of stuff to my order save myself $2!

Haha, I think this Gawain's a little easier than the last one, but you might still not have the right servants to take him on without CS.

Played like 12 hours of Civ 5 this weekend oops. These games are too addicting.

Think I'm in a pretty good position to win my first game, unless I am underestimating how easy it is to get a diplomacy victory. I am easily in the best position for a tech victory though, and having the most advanced tech plus a lot of money means I don't really fear losing to military conquest.

It actually got up to 87% at one point! But it's been at 85%+ the whole time.

Also, it sounds like Nintendo is going to remaster Mario 64, Sunshine, and the Galaxy games for Switch for Mario's 35th anniversary, as well as Mario 3D World Deluxe and a new Paper Mario (give me the first three Remastered instead imhotbqh).

Super Mario 3D World is a great game, especially multiplayer. It's the first multiplayer platformer I've played that really nailed the experience so it doesn't feel worse that way.

Is it just me or does this feel like a weak performance by LBW? Maybe I'm just too used to Zelda obliterating anything it casts its gaze on. Not that it's path hadn't been decided from the start but Bayonetta is hanging in there much better than I'd have thought it would.

The game didn't make it into 2015 for a reason. It's a Zelda game, so it'll only be so weak, but the ceiling is relatively low.

F/GO. Think I'm up to the last fight in Camelot - Rhongomyniad II. ...Think I may need my command seals for this. I was able to win the first fight without any but it took a bit of doing (more than it should have I'm still a little irritated about it lol) but with 200k more HP and the willingness to spam her charge skill from the start I simply can't repeat that performance and come out with a win, and while I've come to thinking I had it a bit wrong and there's some more tweaking I can do to my lineup it can't cover that gap I don't think.

The story leadup into that fight was max hype though omg.

Yeah, it's not easy at all (though you could always use a support~). What Mystic Code do you usually use, btw? Some of them are more functional than others in certain fights (though Chaldea Combat is usually best. Stun and Order Change are too good).

When I'm in a tough fight? The starter one. =(

It's the only one I have at max. Though yeah I am very aware it's not very useful in this fight. The only other one that is decently leveled is the one from the... Babylonia campaign, I think it was? And only because the EXP requirements were much more generous so it's at like Level 6 or 7. I've got Chaldea Combat (and all the ones that were available to me, I think. So Mage Association and Atlas) but those exp reqs. =(

Though that may matter less in this fight than most since I think the only thing I'd really be missing is a better STR buff since it'd be Level 1. Stun and Order Change would just be Cooldown, I think? Well Stun Chance I suppose.

Yeah, levels really don't matter for some of them? Mage Academy, Atlas, and Chaldea Combat don't gain much at all from leveling. Not sure how useful you'd find order change in this fight - you could do something like bring David to the front for team evade when she NPs, but that's about it.
