*still not rigged

Iowa caucus results are riddled with "errors" that stole votes from Bernie

https://www.popularmechanics.com/science/math/a30810883/iowa-caucuses-math-errors/

IDP attorney refuses to correct math errors in results because of "adding an element of bias"

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/03/us/politics/iowa-caucus-app.html

Former Buttigieg campaign organizer is now a "Voter Protection Director" in the upcoming Nevada primary

Hope you guys like forever wars, because you don't have a fucking choice! And oh yeah, Bernie's a Communist, or something. Vote for the gay man with (literally) 40 billionaire donors. Kids like gay people, right?

Theyre not stupid. They know, even more so than the Dems, just how loyal Bernies supporters are.

At this point, all the Trumpist have to do is help the establishment DEMS fuck over Bernie, and itll be 2016 all over again.

So yeah... we have any Canadians out here? Hows the jobs situation up there?

It's not like the centrist dems can't run the country, they just don't bother fixing any glaring holes in society and are paid to do so. War, healthcare, pharma prices, and that's why more and more people are refusing to vote for them. They show how slimy they are when they refuse to go down without a fight.

I think it's more pathetic that Obama quietly refused to end the war than Bush starting the war. At least Bush was with 80% of the country at the time. Trump is just trying his best to make the war popular again.

How? He's not anti-war, nothing on private prisons, obviously will favor lobbying. He's against single-payer as well, so people will continue to pay stupid prices for healthcare. He's probably going to disregard new energy technology in favor of fossil fuels, as well as ignore the rust belt's general well being as far as jobs go as they'd never support him anyway.

No one actually knows what Pete Buttigieg supports because he never talks about policies, just empty catch cliches about "unity" and defeating Trump.

Like I said, he's not going to ruin the country, he's just not going to change anything, so America will continue to be mocked for the backwards things we do.

If you still wanted private healthcare you could get it. Older folks can still buy health insurance despite qualifying for Medicare. With a single system youd be able to actually decide yourself which doctors to see. Under the privatized system youre limited to the providers your insurance company allows you to see and even then youre still burdened with co-pays and ever-increasing deductibles.

Every single other prominent country on this planet manages it, Im sure we can tackle it.

Under the current system I can:
  • Choose my doctor
  • Choose my plan (HMO, PPO, ect.)
  • Choose no plan (Due to the mandate being repealed - I still technically get taxed for it in Massachusetts)
  • Choose a state funded plan
  • Choose a federal funded plan
  • Choose another private plan (one that my work doesn't provide)
  • None of this has any mandatory requirements. I'm not required to visit my doctor. My current plan requires me to have a PCP, however I don't think the other plan that my work provides requires a PCP.

SEC. 107. PROHIBITION AGAINST DUPLICATING COVERAGE.
(a) In General.Beginning on the effective date described in section 106(a), it shall be unlawful for
(1) a private health insurer to sell health insurance coverage that duplicates the benefits provided under this Act; or
(2) an employer to provide benefits for an employee, former employee, or the dependents of an employee or former employee that duplicate the benefits provided under this Act.
(b) Construction.Nothing in this Act shall be construed as prohibiting the sale of health insurance coverage for any additional benefits not covered by this Act, including additional benefits that an employer may provide to employees or their dependents, or to former employees or their dependents.

Anyone can still purchase private health insurance if they want it. It would only be illegal for insurance providers to sell benefits that someone is already entitled to by default.

A) good
B) no, see below
C) I didn't give Pete the benefit of a doubt, he supports a moderate plan to take on climate change with a budget of $1.5-$2 trillion.

Keyword moderate, Bernie's deal more akin to FDR's new deal.
D) That attitude is why they vote Republican, and because we don't adopt it we poll extremely well in rust belt states by proposing left leaning policies.

Yes, medicare "for all who want it" does not ban private insurance. This is Pete's plan.

We've tried it before, it's Obamacare. It's not good enough. We want what every other developed country has. You would be incredibly naive to think one of the most successful social programs in history wouldn't work in the US.

And ironically, Bernie's plan is moderate in America's extremely right leaning political bubble. It does not ban private insurance. It's Identical to the UK's healthcare system.

We already have social security and medicaid for that. How do I know? Maybe it's because I know from experience?
Maybe someone should try and fix some of the problems on why some people have mental illness. Maybe if the state tried to fix my birth mother's issues I wouldn't have turned out to be the person I am now. Maybe I'd turn into a worse or better person depending on how fate treated me. Having access to healthcare was never an issue for the lazy piece of shit my mother was. That was always available. We were never without food either. We were without a father because our culture is fucked.

And yes, you have me pissed off. You have zero moral high ground in this argument. Stop implying shit about my life, or assuming you are any better or worse off than me because I happen to have had some minute success in my life. Hell, I'll give our wonderful government the credit here because without them I would be worse off, but not for the reasons you provided. Hell, people like Bernie Sanders are championing expansion of the keys to my success. The problem? The keys are already there. Free college education and healthcare are already available to the people who need them. The problem is that people have ZERO life experiences that match these people and don't understand what the real problems are and I won't either. I don't understand why and how I ended up differently, just like I don't understand why I cannot find any real happiness in my life, but I know it was never because the government didn't provide when I needed them. They always did.

There's too much ineptitude, and the fact that they refuse to do a recount, just to fix the known errors that people have pointed out to them, there's just too much. All this on top of how we were handled last election and it's very reasonably malice. The vast majority of the "mistakes" put Bernie at a disadvantage at pretty much every turn, mostly by literally just taking votes from him.

And Biden is hopeless and has dementia or something. Not even being smug, because that's terrible, people just know he can't win anymore. Aside from that, he does this every election he runs. The more he talks, the less people like him.

I'm not convinced it was the DNC or the Buttigieg campaign, but with 40 billionaires there's bound to be some strings to pull and it's probably very very indiscriminate.
