Worst Picture Cats Worst Actor John Travolta (The Fanatic, Trading Paint) Worst Actress Tyler Perry (A Madea Family Funeral as Madea) Worst Supporting Actor Tyler Perry (A Madea Family Funeral as Uncle Heathrow) Worst Supporting Actress Rebel Wilson (Cats) Worst Screen Combo Tyler Perry & Tyler Perry (or Tyler Perry) (A Madea Family Funeral) Worst Director Tom Hooper (Cats) Worst Screenplay Cats Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel A Madea Family Funeral Worst Reckless Disregard for Human Life and Public Property Rambo: Last Blood Razzie Redeemer Award Eddie Murphy (Dolemite Is My Name) Cats and Madea take most of the awards, while Travolta and Eddie grab one each. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Sharon Tate win a few, cause I heard that film was incredibly tasteless. In all seriousness, some of the nominations for Cats just seem like piling on. Francesca Hayward wasnt a notably bad actress. Very little of that movies issues are the performances although Rebel Wilson and James Corden are definitely... themselves, so theyre fair nominations.
Also the screenplay isnt anyone involved on the movies fault really, its Andrew Lloyd Webbers fault. I dont think it should be put up against original screenplays. --- For your BK_Sheikah00. At least Kupo has class and doesn't MESSAGE the people -Dr Pizza ... Copied to Clipboard!

Fair enough on the Francesca point, but I think the screenplay one still stands. They had to adapt it to movie form and thus had different screenwriters brought in to adapt and thus can be considered its own thing still. From what I understand, it's not just on the basis of the idea of Cats being bad but the execution and decisions they made to bring to this movie version.

oh yeah, i somehow completely forgot he was in suicide squad and not long after that he was in bright. i guess him needing a redemption does make sense.
still seems weird that his role as genie is the thing that made them go "oh NOW he's good again," though. i don't remember anyone particularly loving him in the movie. i myself thought aladdin himself was funnier, and he wasn't even a comic relief character! --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ... Above all else, Will Smith won Worst Actor at the 2013 Razzie Awards for After Earth, hence his redeemer nomination.
