But as a senator for the state where most of his competition is going to be mormon as well, it's not going to do him any good. I think he's going to have a difficult time securing his position. Last time it was something like 53% vs 47% for him to get the GOP senate nomination. As it is, Utah mormons didn't love Romney. That's why there was a weird grass roots movement for the Mcmullin dude. They have a vested interest in the elections of the most influential country in the world. We've done the exact same thing to other countries throughout our history as well. It behooves us to do so. It has nothing to do with Trump except that he's an asshole and may or may not be more willing than others to cooperate with their concerns. Shit, we allegedly bugged Merkels phone for years.
