Ordered something 12 days ago, no confirmation from the company on the shipping. I have been charged, no tracking, no nothing.

On the community page people are saying I need to come down.

No, just an email saying your payment method has been charged. The community page is the facebook group were the publisher and designer are the admins

No, not unreasonable. The lack of information is understandably frustrating. It's bad to not even say "it's been shipped!" No way to track it if it were shipped is a terrible idea in this day and age.

Almost 2 weeks isn't a long time, yet it is when a person can send something in 2 days across the country from Amazon or less than a week from the USPS for minimal charges

What pisses me off even more is the president of the publisher emailed me about it a week ago saying that he sent the order to the distributor. So you would think they would have at least but a little tail wind on it.

Its not unreasonable to expect some sort of answer or explanation at this point, but there are also poor ways of communicating a reasonable request, so its hard to say whether people asking you to calm down a bit is unreasonable or not without knowing exactly what youve been saying.

They seriously need to work on their distribution. Ordered the game twelve days ago. Couldnt get movement at all on my order till I made the post the other day. Still no shipping confirmation, no tracking, nothing. It's like i ordered from a third rate company from a back water country. So frustrated with this entire process i dont even think I'll enjoy the game when(if) it comes in.

It's out of their hands at that point, you should be talking with the distributor.

They are the contact with this distributor. I have no idea who they are.

If a company is shipping an item and is not using tracking that is a big red flag.

did it say expected delivery range when you ordered it? sometimes an item is on back-order, so doesn't get shipped for 3 weeks. (I guess they shouldn't charge you then though...)

could be they didn't update the inventory so they didn't actually have one to send you. but you're definitely not being unreasonable. some companies would give you an immediate refund if the package doesn't show up on time, even if it's just late a few days.

I know places that do that. And they are usually shitty places. And don't like bad reviews or publicity. Which is completely fucking stupid that they can do that. I can understand if they got little a tons of reviews from the friend of one mad person or something. But on review asking about the timeline of stuff isn't bad. And could even show you're working with this person, to show great customer service. But nope... Just delete it. Sounds pretty shitty and shady...

To be fair, there's an argument to be made in this day and age that every distributor direct shipping to customers should be providing tracking numbers and shipping confirmation via e-mail. If they're not doing so, it's valid to question why. And if you have no knowledge of who a distributor is or how to contact them, it's also valid to complain about the issue to the company using that distributor. If nothing else, knowledge of problems may lead them to switch distributors in the future.

Welp... I was supposed to get it today... checked the tracking, as I have packages sent to my office and wanted to make sure it was sent before I swung by in my way to my office downtown and.... incorrect address sending back to sender....

I talked to the guy again, he flat out named the distributor this time which was funny... they are sold out of the game, as is everyone currently so when it gets back to the distributor, they are gonna see what went wrong and maybe send it to a local game shop in a bulk shipment and I'll pick it up there.

So Saturday I went to the post office to see what happened. They took a photo of the label of before it was sent back. Turns out the stupid distributor somehow tore the label before placing on the package. The label was tore RIGHT on the line that had the suite number. Since they didn't know what suite it was, they shipped it back. Waiting for it to go back to the distributor and sent back out to me since they are sold out until April.
