Going off the last thing said, I think Phil is saltiest when he's playing fps games now, like modern warfare. Lots of "that never happened" or "huh, i shot him ten times and he didn't die!"

I think one of the most frustrating aspects of FPS games for him is, chat can't help him. How well Phil does is entirely dependent on his own skills and reflexes. There are no overpowered builds; there is no exploitable AI. It's Phil versus real people who know how to play the game and can adapt to different situations and adjust their strategies as needed--and he can't accept that these people are simply better than him.

Nah, that applies to any game that is essentially skill based. Shooters, fighters, anything as you said, involving real peoppe.

There is no grinding to become stronger, there is no handholding to aim better, it's just you and your wits and trying to become better.

Phil never changes his tactics, never minds his surroundings, never approaches the same situation differently. And to protect his fragile little ego, it's "never his fault". He can never laugh at his fuck ups, be humble in victory, praise his opponent, anything really that could be considered good sportsmanship.

Also, about Phil being poor: on KF they are trying to crack down Phil's account on a mobile wrestling game, a game he might (and I do want to stress the might part) have spend over 10.000 dollars on, it features recent screenshots.

I'm just here to laugh.

If people ever feel the need to point out that they are better than someone, the probably aren't.

Having said that, everyone here is just there to enjoy the trainwreck, the slow burn. It's easy to catch Phil in a lie because every time he tells a story he has told before, it changes.

Example: he always used to tell stories about him being a "top dog" during his dorm days. But recently he told that he was a victim of bullying, but also as retalliation, he shoved a bully into a wall so hard, he dented the wall.

I sure as hell don't believe his stories, because there never seem to be any repercussions for Phil, and the fact that the stories change all the time makes Phil unreliable as fuck as a aource of trust for these stories. I am just here to laugh and point out those inconsistencies.

I treat Phil based on the way he behaves, as he behaves ridiculous, he will be ridiculed.

I haven't seen anything before reading the last few pages of KF about this whole Hype Train thing. I just wanted to know more about it, but I guess I'll wait for a detractor video. Maybe someone already made one?

I'm just drunk and I want to take the 5 hour bus ride to where he lives, wait until he does his Costco run, and beat the ever living shit out of him. My record is spotless. The only thing that will happen to me is maybe having to do some anger management classes and pay for his medical bills.

The biggest idiots are the trolls who give him tiny bits of money just to insult him. He's not gonna read those messages out loud. You can get him to rant just by concern trolling in chat, I've done it twice now.

Phil is at his best when he's playing a game online and when he's not getting enough tips. He gets so mad that he bans people for daring to say the connection is good.

I'll try to answer the hype-train question to the best of my abilities/knowledge. I might have a few things wrong/off but the general gist is:

The Hype Train happens if a certain amount of people (minimum requirement is unknown to me) cheer is a short span of time. When the Hype Train happens, people who participated are rewarded with a random reward, reflecting of the tier of train reached. There are 5 tiers, but I do not know what the requirements for the different tiers. It could be the number of cheers or the amount cheered.

There is a cooldown on how often the Hype Train can happen. The lowest cooldown is an hour, so that means at the very least there is a 60 minute cooldown in between trains.

Only cheers/subs contribute to the Hype Train. This conflicts Phil. He loves money, but he loves tips the most. So he want the Hype Train to happen, but he just can't decide whether this cuts into the "quality" of his stream, because is a contrarian. He doesn't want the Hype Train to "derail" the stream. But as Phil received cheers, he stopped playing whatever it was to look at the chat to see if another train would go off. Also reminding people that the cooldown has passed.

Because Phil is all about that organic growth.

And about idiots giving Phil troll tips. I feel conflicted. Lots of troll tips are really poorly thought out, though I do get a chuckle out of them, Phil largely ignores them. But Thirdeye consistently gets under his skin. He got Phil to talk about Tevin, and how he is the cause of Kat never appearing on stream again. Then he got Phil to contradict himself, and Phil responded that Kat was never going to appear on stream again anyway. Phil was visibly having trouble keeping his story straight when he seemed to realize that his stories weren't adding up (Kat never showing up vs Tevin chasing her away).

Getting Phil to contradict himself in just 10 minutes time, getting him to stumble is far more effective trolling than giving a troll tip with a name like kat-got-blacked or some shit.

On KF they found that tournament or special event results are stored online in excel format, and Phil's account was active during the week of Christmas.

Also, proof has been found that that same account was active yesterday (or 2 days ago depending on your timezone).

Phil recently claimed not to play movile games, because they are a money sink, but as he did, he revealed intimate details of the working of such games, and in the past he has admitted to playing at least a DBZ and a Final Fantasy mobile game and a couple of others.

And during Phil's E3 "coverage" he seemed annoyed no mobile games were announced and even seemed to defend mobile games.

Phil's knowledge of mobile games also seems to exceed his knowledge of regular games.

Now, this is mostly speculation, and I do believe that skepticism is a healthy approach. However, the flipside is that a detractor is wasting tens of thousands of dollars to make Phil look bad.

And I urge everyone to read the thread on KF, so many sources of proof are there, I cannot possibly fit it in a single post.

I wish I drove. Why I don't is a whole other topic, but I live in Portland and I could easily make the trip to his place. He's going to go shopping on Tuesday, I could easily find him IRL and confront him over some of these BS issues on camera.

I mean, Phil's world is on fire right now. His CT condo is being foreclosed, Phil ignore the summons and the bank can move forward with their case, right now he is in for over 100.000 dollars.

Phil constantly is begging for scraps, claiming not having money to even buy groceries, saying his best course of action might be file for bankrupcy.

All the while he has been dumping tens of thousands of dollars on a mobile game, and who knows what more. And what does Phil do when confronted with this? Stick his head in the sand, ignore it and ban people.

Yesterday an actual quality troll happened. See, on the discordz the person called TheyCallMeDSP, said that they and Phil (Twitch) are not the same person, and Phil himself has said that he hasn't played mobile games since Kat moved in. So what happened?

Someone called Uselesness_TheyCallMeDSP (Uselesness being the Guild Phil is in in the mobile game) asked in the chat a rather harmless question: why people are confusing him with Phil. And got subsequently banned.

This was great, they didn't adress anything, didn't call out Phil or point out anything. All Phil did here is make himself look guilty by acting the way he did. Because if he really didn't play the game anymore, and no one else can know about it, why ban someone for such a harmless question?

Give Phil just enough rope, and he'll hang himself.
