I think the hand-holding might eventually reach a point where someone else is simply playing the game for him while he does commentary, and that might actually be more entertaining. He would be free to beg and ban and rant about detractors while a game just happens to be played in the background.

I'm sure he could find fans willing to do it for nothing more than a shout-out during the stream. I'm kind of half-joking with this idea, but he's already got one guy who is willing to write Minecraft guides for him and then pay to walk him through every step because Phil refuses to read the guides. Having someone else play the game is not that big of a leap forward.

As many people have suggested, he'd be better off ditching the gameplay completely and trying to do some sort of IRL stream instead. He clearly hates playing games at this point, and most of the entertainment value (such as it is) comes from his rants and reactions to chat rather than the gameplay.

Yeah, and he might get called out for lying about it on his taxes. @Nazanir might be able to show you what he claimed he spends on certain things. As in every single thing he buys he wrote off as a business expense. Not really, but close to it. All the paperwork is online to read

I knew about the debt, but I didn't know it was related to an attempt to declare bankruptcy. Just thought some creepy people on creepyfarms creepily got hold of some random financial records.

Technically not yet.

He filed for bankruptcy and is aiming for Chapter 7 so he can keep his house/car. He is doing this by fudging the numbers. He lowballed the value of his condo to get it exempt from liquidation.

All his expenses are listed business expenses, both of his mortgages, all of his electricity, water, internet. Hell, he filed all his meals (600 dollars per month for 2 people, which is insane), his car, and a few other things. It totals for 5.000 dollars. I am not going over why, but this number is bullshit.

He writes down about 4.000 as gross income every month.

Then there are loads of inconcistencies. He filed not having pets, but writes 100 dollars per month for pet food. He is not a sole proprietor, but runs a business. Claims not to have any electronics. And a couple of other things.

Thursday there is a hearing that allows the creditors to ask questions about the filing, this will also be public record. There might be another. Phil actually stands to lose his house.

He is for 500.000 dollars in the shitter, possibly closer to 600.000 if the IRS is going to look at his business expenses. He may have spend tens of thousands of dollars on a WWE gacha game.

If you visit the farms, there is a topic that goes over the filing and everything that is wrong with it.

Phil's relationship with Papavera is legitimately disturbing. The guy goes to all this effort to write guides that Phil won't read, has to cheer to get Phil to listen to him, and gets bitched out if Phil follows his instructions incorrectly. What is this guy getting out of this? Someone like that needs help.

It's also strange because he uses the internet and plays video games. You see this shit all the time and should be used to it by now. He acts like one of those soccer moms who is so shocked and appalled when they see violent imagery. Like, it's a game and they were being funny, grow up already (funny since Phil thinks he's a "grown man with an adult house").

These weird reactions to women in video games started some time after Kat moved in, so clearly she has something to do with it. I can't believe she's so insanely jealous that she doesn't want Phil interacting with any other women, even ones in games. I get the feeling that she might have made a comment about how sexist Phil was in his older videos, and Phil completely overreacted and decided that any future behavior like that might make her leave him. I mean, I don't know what else would explain it

Phil is playing the single player RPG mode of Gran Blue.

Turns out, it has a system not unlike that of gacha games. He got a rare pull and you could see his eyes light up like Christmas, he went full clown mode after that.

There is no doubt in my mind anymore that he doesn't play that WWE or similar gacha games and blew tens of thousands of dollars on it. His behaviour was extremely revealing.

I really hope that no one just approaches Phil. The best thing would just be him, being extremely paranoid. But even if people go, I hope that they at least they act in a civil manner, you are still going to court. Act like it.

I once again cannot stress enough to not let your expectations get the best of you. There is no judge present, this is just a possible preliminary hearing. This is mostly just going to be asking whether Phil is indeed who he says he is. There are almost a dozen hearings like this per hour. So it'll last between 5-10 minutes. Creditors can ask for another more extensive hearing.

Don't expect Phil to be rattled too much today. If anything, he'll be smug because today isn't going to be about the creditors, just about establishing contact between Phil, the trustee and the creditors.

Phil might act erratically on stream, given the fact that 5 March is banned (even as is the word "Corona"), but don't get your hopes up. Once the documents get public, we'll know what is what. DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING Phil says. He is the most unreliable story teller, and he is known to change the story to suit his needs.
