Does anybody have any experience with these games beyond RCR? There is a pretty hefty collection for the Switch (Japan-only), with the English versions for all of the localized games available (about half of them if you count Double Dragon 1-3).

Looks pretty good.

What I like about the series is that all the characters are constant. You will see recurring characters put in different situations.

The Switch version is also nice because it has "enhanced" versions of some of the games that take out some of the flickering and slowdown they originally had

It actually is missing one localized title though, Nintendo World Cup (either because of the trademarked name in the title or it may have something to do with that game being published in the US by Nintendo themselves)

I had hope at one point that maybe we would get new localized versions of all of these with consistent names, instead of Kunio being named Sam, Alex, Crash, etc depending on the title but it seems like ASW isn't interested in doing that. At least they are consistent about the names in all the new games.

Yeah apparently Nintendo owns that one

Weird that River City Ransom characters are in so many dodgeball games!

Just DDII?

Only the gameboy version is part of it, the original game was a kunio and it was released in the west as Double Dragon II (Gameboy)

Well anyway I'm a sucker for a compilation so I might get this and hope I can easily add an English patch for the switch one day.

Almost all of the games do have translation patches on their original consoles, at least.

Also that list above is missing several games, including the second Famicom soccer game, the Famicom athletic meet (prequel to Crash N The Boys), the Super Famicom dodgeball game, the Super Famicom baseball game, and a Game Boy volleyball game
