I had the privilege of attending the Academy screening of #TheRiseOfSkywalker today and J.J. confirmed that what Finn wanted to tell Rey was that hes force sensitive!

I just want to clarify, he didnt announce this during the Q&A but talked to every fan that wanted to talk and take pics after and one person asked about what Finn wanted to say and this is what J.J. confirmed with him. Either way it was written rlly confusing but yeah

Lmao trying to save face when he saw that people were upset that Finn was too busy chasing after Rey even though he had two other love interests lined up. this was a dumb move bro.

I watched it on premiere night and liked it actually. I don't like this though. Not sure what you're getting at here. If you're implying that Finn wasn't having a weird, disjointed 4 way romantic plot then you weren't paying attention.

He most certainly was romantically. And yes they show him being force sensitive, that's how he finds that tower on the destroyer but why tf would he refrain from telling her this after they didn't die? Or why would he even want to tell her that as they're going to die? that's like a straight up trope for when you confess your love to someone.

He also had the most love interests in the sequel trilogy and none of them were realized.

My thing is, if he thinks they're all about to fucking die, why would he suddenly choose then to blurt out he was force sensitive? Like, it doesn't make sense.

He plainly says he has a feeling in the movie. JJ made what he was going to say to Rey up after the fact. And canonically doesn't really matter when every scene they have together oozes romantic tension.

They survive: hey what did you want to tell me "What're you talking about? IT'S NOTHING. NOPE" *speeds out of conversation*

Captured 30 minutes later: hey what were you gonna tell Rey "WOW you really think this is a good time for this?"

Yeah every single moment in the movie would have been an acceptable time to let any of them know you were force sensitive. Especially when you're about to get blasted.

I honestly feel like someone wanted to pair up Finn and Rey, but someone in charge was too chicken to pair up a lead white woman with a black romantic interest, and kept coming up with ways to sabotage it. I wouldn't even be surprised if Rose was written into TLJ explicitly to drag him away from Rey. >_>

Finn loving Rey would be too weird.

Obviously its he & Poe who have feelings for each other. Remember when they were happy to see each other and they ran & hugged, then Poe bit his lip and gave Finn the f*** me eyes. He even said he looked good or that the jacket looked good on him. Its so obvious that they wanted to buttf***.

But yeah Finn loving Rey, I dunno how anyone could come to that conclusion. Theres just nothing there.
