Legal standards regarding age are somewhat arbitrary and not entirely congruous, either. Considering the legal age for sex is generally 18 but the legal age for alcohol is generally 21, that means according to the law you are mature enough to engage in sexual intercourse and even bring new life into the world (i.e., you are responsible enough to take care of another life) years before you are mature enough to make responsible decisions about what you drink. At the core, we naturally seek out what is attractive or that which appeals to our instinctual drive as providing the best chance at biological succession. Now when it comes to pedophilia or hebophilia, there's probably some sort of either genetic fuckup or some environmental influence (such as a messed up childhood) that leads to that.

I don't think finding someone relatively close to, but not yet at, legal adulthood as attractive is something under which a person should be branded a pedophile. The important factor there is knowing the limits and boundaries. I certainly agree that the people keeping countdowns are on the strange side, as it's unlikely they'll ever have a chance.

An actual pedophile never would have been interested in her in the first place. It really isn't hard to understand but most people here are either willfully ignorant or as the southerners would say, bless their heart. A pedophile is attracted to prepubescent children. Which means as soon as she started developing breasts, regardless of what age that was, pedophiles would have lost interest. They want actual literal children. Not the people that society considers "children" today, aka fully grown teenagers and even people in their 20s.

Not to mention the fact that no one knew she had big boobs until that one picture from when she was 17 I think, which would have already made her of legal age of consent in the majority of the states/countries that most of us are from in the first place. Not that she would be coming after any of us anyway.
