You make a circle below your waist, if someone looks at it you punch them in the arm....It wasn't below his waist and how the fuck is he gonna punch me in the arm through the TV? The entire point is to trick someone to look down, not put it in their direct eye line, in this case, the camera....

I play it with my little sister in law. I don't punch her, I just get her to look, then laugh when she does.

I've done this with people across a room or even a pic over text. Its just a simple "lol made you look" or "gatcha" silliness. Nothing more.

Well, yea but it started as a game where you'd punch them. I remember it starting and getting big when it was on Malcolm in the Middle years ago. Of course you're not going to punch a child in the arm so people have adapted it when they play it...the game is to trick people to look down, just like the thing where you point at their chest then flick their nose when they look down. the point is it was above his waste directly in the camera....not much of a trick there. Kinda hard to miss. So the guy who did it is either lying or just stupid...

It's not restricted to that. When I was in A School, some guys would do it for just about any picture. We have one who did it during our graduation rehearsal picture and another who did it in a picture while we were marching back from class.

Rules of the game change depending on who you play it with. Classically, it's below the waist. Thats the "right" way.

I've also seen and played it where its anything below the shoulder. Makes it hard af to avoid getting "got"

Things change. What started as "4Chan Shit" became adopted by actual racists. even if they're doing it as a "joke" their intention is still one with the racist aspect in mind....that doesn't make it any better.

And yet every time I see people lose their shit over it, it appears to be some innocuous game people are playing or literally just signaling "okay"

And of course, every time there is an investigation of some sort and this is found to be the case, everyone just goes "hurr durr the investegators were racist too!"

So really, while "actual" racists may have adopted it, I stand by what I said.

You can't be that naive, man. "No see i was just playing a game!"...you think when questioned they're gonna go on the news and say "Yea im a racist" or "I was just doing it to pretend to be racist to trigger people"...of course not. Sure some are playing the game, but those who have adopted it to either signal real racism or as a "joke" to "trigger" people (as sad as that sounds for them), have kind of ruined that game, now. They're the ones who let 4Chan do what they did. they could have said "that shit's stupid, it a game" but instead they decided to go with "lol watch me trigger these people!"...Meanings of things change all the time and have for centuries. "Gay" used to just mean happy or joyous. Hell, its a lyric in the Flinstones theme....But you wouldn't go outside and say "Man, I'm having such a gay time right now!"....because the word has kind of shifted. Take responsibility for your actions. I don't think he was playing the circle game. if anything he was trying to "Trigger" people and this was his excuse and an easy one for the military to use to sweep it away and make people forget about it. Its interesting how the circle game started to make such a huge come back in media once people started doing things like this....no one was playing it for years then suddenly BAM, everyone is doing it all over, mostly people of a certain race....I guess they just got interested in the game again out of no where.

I guess a simpleton would think so, but as a very online progressive guy I'm smart enough to see the truth. These guys, being well-versed in the culture of weird alt-right online communities (who isn't?) were probably just trying to ruin their careers on national television. This makes sense because it justifies my dependency on outrage culture as a motivator to care about anything. I'm very normal.

Examining the evidence in question, it would appear that the sign is upside down. Given this, it is not possible for the sign to imply white power. Looking closely, one can cleary see what is being done. These individuals are signaling that they are going to be medical students by the Md that is being shown in the sign.
