But I've even devolved to accepting just a straight trilogy re-release without any changes so I don't need to dust off the PS2 to experience again. Played through that as a youngster but lost interest midway through the second game. Tried to play them all again as a young adult. Once again, got through the very enjoyable first game. Didn't even make it as far through the second game as my previous attempt. Thing is, I hear the third game is really good, but I refuse to play it out of canon order, so I probably never will at this point. --- Don't mind me. But still rough, yeah. 1 and 3 are sparkling gems that more than make up for it.
