I know it's one-party concent. I've been doing some reading on it here when I can.

But background: I'm not sure if you remember around Thanksgiving, I made a topic about how I pissed off some annoying co-workers by implying that I'm a Satanist.

Well it didn't seem to stop there. They've always been stupid people but they've been getting downright antagonistic towards me since then.
You know, just saying shit. Didn't really bug me initially. In fact, me ignoring them and laughing them off would just make them even more pissed. But lately, they've been getting more aggressive and making sure I hear it. Trying desperately to get me to retaliate and start going off on them(because they knew at one point in time I would). This job already have a ridiculously toxic work environment, the last thing I need right now are annoying fucks saying racist shit and calling me the r-word because I'm routinely blocking them out.

The management have a notoriously bad track record when it comes to dealing with stuff like this and has let heinous shit that people do slide in the past for reason. However, they do like me.
So I figured if I take this to them, I I'm going to at least nail them with proof via a recording, so I can shut this down asap.

Really need to get another job.

Document days, times, parties involved and what was said. Writing it down and submitting that is sufficient, you dont need to record.

Just to note, it may be against company policy to recoed coworkers without permission, which could lead to termination. You would first need confirmation that HR was refusing to stop the harassment, then you could record the conversations as proof. If you brought it to HR, you can then use the recording as proof of Harassment. Since you've already documented HR as being inactive in helping you, if they still refused to help you or terminate you you could get a labor attorney and sue them for money.

Document as much as possible.

See that would be ideal, but they won't do shit.

I've had a previous incident earlier in the year involving some jackass that tried to steal my shit. And when I took my belonging back and confronted him about it, he made threats.
So I documented everything about the incident. Wrote down what he said, date, time, got HR involved, etc.

He admitted taking my thing but he claimed it was a "joke" and so they "suspended" him for two weeks, but they couldn't terminate him because there was no proof that he made the threats, even though others did witness it (and won'tt say anything) because these fucks here take up for each other. Did I mention he got paid for his time off? He also quit on the spot one day after arguing with a manager for something unrelated.

I've seen worse stuff happen to other people here though. Folks literally getting bullied out of this place by particular groups of people and the management not doing shit when they go to them.

You don't even know. There was a girl who use to work here. She was a little strange and she clearly had some mental/personal issues. But she was a good worker.
There was a group of guys that would bully and harass her because she would tell them to get off their ass and help her. One of the things they would mess with her about was her age, which she was secretive about. They asked one of the supervisors for that information and started bugging her over that.

So, like, I thought this whole thing was dumb and went to the manager at the time about it and I advised the girl to talk to management too. Now get this, one of the supervisors told the guys who were messing with her what she said and they started going at her even harder.
It got so bad that she started drinking on the job and got wrote up for it. She eventually quit one day.

Now I'm pissed and I'm asking my supervisor how in the world they let that happen? I've told her multiple times what that girl was going through. But she would just keep going on about how the girl got caught drinking, and I'm explaing to her that A. This was going on before that. B. Yeah, she wasn't suppose to drink, but what do people do when they're stressed out? And C. How does her drinking somehow negate what these dudes were doing to her?

But I'm pretty sure this manager only ever understood half of the things I would tell her. English wasn't her first language.
She then went on to get promoted to a better job somewhere in California, which is some bullshit because she was awful at her job.

Didn't get anything interesting yet. A supervisor was there all day (miraculously) so they were being as obnoxious. But they'll slip up.
On better news, I found out that I have a little over a week of vacation time. So I'm going to figure out how to use that.

I'm not "putting it out there". I'm putting it on me (in my pocket) and waiting for someone to talk shit to me directly, making me part of the conversation.

Also, it's a great way to test out a new voice recorder I recently brought. Thing picks up everything.

Locked up. Got into a fight while in prison recently because someone changed the channel on the television he and several inmates were watching. You remember how he got a new girlfriend. She left him too.
