Just to note, it may be against company policy to recoed coworkers without permission, which could lead to termination. You would first need confirmation that HR was refusing to stop the harassment, then you could record the conversations as proof. If you brought it to HR, you can then use the recording as proof of Harassment. Since you've already documented HR as being inactive in helping you, if they still refused to help you or terminate you you could get a labor attorney and sue them for money.

Document as much as possible.
