Absolutely, "Darth Jar Jar" was going to be a thing but the negative response to the character put the kibosh on that Probably, some of the evidence is pretty convincing and Lucas even said "Jar Jar is the key to all this" Eh, maybe; I feel like it was probably an idea he toyed around with but I doubt it was something was determined to do Nah, I seriously doubt it; Jar Jar was just George's misguided attempt at entertaining the kiddos No way in Hell No, but he should have been! I think it would have been poorly received.
