Just playing with toys, video games, sports or whatever.
Not worrying about money, work, status etc.

C or D?

Of course, if you had an abusive parent or bad childhood I am sorry.

D

From right before I turned 17 to right before I turned 19 was the best time of my life

But childhood (everything before middle school) is a close second

Late teens, early 20's for me. Freedom to really do what I want felt great.

The most stress free, for sure, because being a functioning adult inevitably involves things like your car needing repaired or your older relatives becoming infirm, but I dunno I'm having a lot of fun these days!

It was certainly up there, and might have been the most day-to-day happy, but small doses of adulthood top the all-time list.

Touring Europe with my wife, my wedding, and some of my accomplishments as a working musician are the happiest moments of my life.

Definitely. Things started to go downhill in the mid to late '90s and continued badly until the late 2000s-early 2010s, when there were a few years of relative peace and happiness. Then in 2016 I nearly died and my mental health took a major turn for the worse. Things mostly suck now.

In seriousness, though, lolno.

I had a violent, selfish older sister, homework, constant pressure to get straight A's, spankings, groundings, and a slow wit.

Quite possibly the worst time of my life.

I guess, but it wasn't exactly care free. It was very stressful to constantly worry about being beaten or have your life threatened if you were noisy or something.

Things are easier now as an adult, but there's not really a lot of the same enjoyment of anything any more. It's just work, sleep, repeat. Spend days off trying to enjoy something or spending it helping family.

Probably. I'd say I was happier being a kid than I am as an adult. I will say work is easier and less boring than school, though.
