If a judge is allowing their religious beliefs to override the duty they as a civil servant must preform then that person should be removed from office. The judge is not a private citizen within the context of her job. She is paid for by the US government to serve all US citizens. She can not refuse to perform her duties based on her personal beliefs, especially religious ones.
