SmartMuffin 02/24/20 8:27:19 PM #404:	Nobody is ever sitting their goalie in the playoffs for rest. And yes, IF Fleury has a bad stretch Lehner could totally steal the crease. But that's not really "things going to plan." Like, don't get me wrong. Having a really good backup goalie is a good thing. But it's a luxury. It's a nice to have, but not a must have. We got a free waiver pickup that has a chance to turn into something decent, and Gagner at least should slot into the lineup better than half of our current forwards, making the remaining games still kind of watchable. --- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Koivu and Galchenyuk leaving this year would save a whopping 10 mil alone, and other than Brodin and Fiala, no one is worth so much play wise to justify a huge raise to counter act it. Galchenyuk would likely have to take a paycut regardless if he stays or goes. Unless they fetch good draft stock, there isn't room to panic that much. If I was in Vegas right now and could bet on in-progress games, if the game makes it to overtime, I would bet $500 on the Capitals losing. Okay maybe $500 is too much but I'd do $100 at least.
