Dropped off after the fourth season and decided to go back. Honestly I think hotel is my favorite now.

I thought it had a great double twist to it. And every season has a terrrrrible ending, but I thought that one was pretty good

I imagine hotel is the zenith of messed up with that scene with the drilldo demon thing. Also that annoyed me how that was barely covered when it seemed like it was a bigger part

So for the longest time I heard Hotel was horrible and I never watched it. Then about six months ago or so I decided to check it, and not being a big AHS fan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also watched Apocalypse recently, and that season really clicked with me for how campy and ridiculous it was, and it makes me think maybe I just got the earlier seasons of AHS that I hated completely wrong. >.>

Yeah I just treat it like campy lowbrow horror movies but in show form. Don't get me wrong some of the writing and acting is amazing but it's still campy

Ok so I'm like five episodes into Roanoke and they are having all the actors and real versions coming back to the house. God I love Kathy Bates

I've tried twice so far and haven't been able to get through it. I'll probably try again at some point or I'll just have to skip it.

Murder House was lousy, Coven was great, Asylum was fantastic, and Freak Show was great.

Probably because they keep going on longer than they should. Granted, Freak Show has a half-decent resolution. Actually, I enjoyed Coven's as well... and Asylum's was kinda neat (other than the present-day stuff which was largely pointless). I guess it's just Murder House which was eh.

Ok so the second half of the season is "found footage" of the show within the show. This is getting really good

Before I watched Cult, somebody explained it to me like this: if a character says "Obama was supposed to fix racism" and you can't tell if it's supposed to be a joke or not, there's a problem.

My wife loved hotel, but I had given up on AHS by then (didn't like the previous season much), and so I didn't watch it with her. She said there are vampires though, so I do plan on going back and watching it some day.
