You also only have to have one or the other of the ziplines upgraded to get that benefit, although the indicators when placing a new zipline only account for the extra range if the one already placed has it and the game doesn't always properly update what the actual distance is when you're out of range. Plus it can be annoying to really tell if you really have LOS without the line in general.

You really shouldn't run into problems until you start building ziplines everywhere, unless you really like building safehouses.

Also my path from South Knot to Timefall Farmers would absolutely not work without that extra 50 meters to get across the river.

Getting them to level 2 isn't so bad and is absolutely worth it. Getting them to level 3 mostly depletes an area of a full stash of Chemicals per zipline. Still did it anyway as my ziplines were getting close to non-functional degradation.

Sam, it's Die-Hardman. You might be wondering what "PlayStation trophies" are. Well, believe it or not, before the Death Stranding, people spent a considerable amount of time playing computer games. These so-called "trophies" measured your progress in the game. Now this goes without saying, but these weren't physical "trophies" that you may be familiar with. In a way, this mimics your own travels to complete the chiral network. Every person you meet is another "trophy" marking your progress towards uniting America. I have more information if you are interested, visit the nearest distro center for more details.

Oh hey, you can Dismantle vehicles same as everything else. That's a good change, but I'd still rather they just not spawn people's trucks entirely blocking an entrance all the time.

There's an option in the menu called "hide signs containing spoilers" and the only thing it does is hide the memory chip signs. Totally misleading. Obviously the signs don't have story spoilers in them.

So like a naive fool I played the entire game without seeing a single memory chip sign, and ended up using a guide.

That option really should be communicated better

Reminder to everyone to finish all 5 pizza missions

Can confirm the value in this. In fact, do them all ASAP to make sure you get the last one when it becomes available. The timing and routing works out really well that way.

that's good to know!

I also have that enabled but the signs that showed up for me were "Here!" signs so I guess people found a way around it, which is also the sign I left behind

Also I think the Hide Spoiler option hides signs for structures you haven't unlocked either, but that's so trivial as well.

I'm super frustrated at this boss battle right now... it's chapter 11 I think? I've gotten it to red health, less than an 8th left probably, 3 times now before getting one-shot by bullshit.

I got past most difficult bosses by being more willing to eat my stockpile of health bugs. I do recommend saving them for said bosses

what difficulty are you on? I was happy going through on normal, and don't remember being one-shot

Which one are you at specifically? put it in spoiler tags or list the mission number, there might be something we're missing

Youre probably in chapter 12! What I did was camp out on the roof of the tallish (tallest?) building in the southeast end of the map. I think only one attack pattern ever actually threatened me there. Keep shooting until you're out of ammo, then go down on the south side to get some more weapons/blood, then climb back up.
Might be true of other buildings on the map, but thats the one I used.

All the standard BT areas used to not respawn when I "killed" them all. Now they seem to.

Or maybe it's just some of the areas? I haven't really figured it out.
