Timefall won't even damage cargo directly at 100% container damage, but damage from impacts will be grossly higher.

Timefall will break your tools that aren't naturally in containers, though pouches when applicable will keep them undamaged forever.

Beat Death Stranding!! This game far exceeded my expectations all the way through.

As far as my guesses for the line, it would be Either when Sam says something like "So I'm just Mario and you're Princess Peach?" or Amelie's "Mario and Princess BEACH". I'd almost expect it to be "I'm Fragile, but I'm not that fragile.", but she said it in the intro too.

the most annoying part for me so far is getting 5 stars for every location

you do need to do 20 premium deliveries that mostly end with you either going into mule or BT territory in hard mode (the timefall really hurts here) and recovering some lost package

mules are kinda easy to deal with mostly, just get in a truck and run over everyone in the camp

oh yea and setting up ziplines in the mountains will test your sanity

I didn't play for 2 weeks because I was playing Jedi: Fallen Order instead so today was the first day I tried playing again. I did 1 delivery and couldn't play any more so I really don't know if I'll be able to power through. Taking a few weeks without playing makes you realize how shallow the gameplay truly is.

small potatoes deliveries won't cut it for the distro centers. you need to build the roads and do the truck deliveries that get you 1000+ likes

same thing with getting your timed delivery stat up to 60. a single package for 50 likes isn't gonna make a dent

I found that you generally never have to repeat deliveries to level a facility, with the caveat that you will often be temporarily roadblocked by relying on needing other areas unlocked and some deliveries being locked behind others often with little rhyme or reason.

The only time I redo deliveries (besides with bots) is when I'm going somewhere and have the room to spare or the location has a useful reward for delivering in person (Spiritualist with 600 Lightweight Chemicals, places with unique Chiral items).

I went berserk yesterday and killed 20+ mules in the two camps flanking the northern mountain distro center

got a call from Deadman today about getting rid of the bodies before they voidout

it was pretty fun hauling 10 corpses in a truck in each camp

I also tested out just leaving the bodies at a distro center and it turns out if you go to your room and leave the bodies upstairs they charge you 200 likes per body

edit: after I get the platinum I'll see what happens if I just left the bodies at the camps, wondering how long it would take for a voidout crater to go away so I didn't want to risk blocking my two routes to the distro center

There's a detail that they mostly gloss over, but is mentioned in at least one interview, that voidouts caused by repatriates are significantly smaller than normal voidouts.

In other words, they treat a voidout caused by a corpse you "make" as an immediate fail condition because the voidout would be way too big to continue on.

Except despite all that afaik you can actually revive after it happens with no territory lost, but I think it has some other permanent consequences I'm not totally sure about.

I also hear that they don't play completely fair with corpses either because you can supposedly leave them in a known BT area, a tactic actually used in at least one interview, and it will still cause a voidout.

Thanks to other people's ziplines filling in the gaps, I now have absolutely everything except the Engineer in the second map accessible entirely by ziplines with only minimal walking to most terminals.

my mvp online zipline was from a guy that put a zipline incredibly close to the Wind Farmer that allowed me to put my own at the peak of the hill before entering that forest, that blew my mind because that guy placed it so there were no trees in the way it and like it was just meant to fit perfectly for me

I think I went back to the first map "too soon" because I didn't have anyone else's ziplines spawn and I had to cover the entire map myself. Just barely doable on that map, but man a few helpful ziplines from others would have been nice for sure.

I've definitely spent entirely too much time perfecting my zipline placements and upgrades, though. At this point I should really just hurry up and beat the game.

For real though, it's basically impossible to make a complete value judgement on besides actually playing it. If that sounds like I'm saying the game is actually bad, and you think you'd probably hate it from what you've seen...that's probably true! I mean yeah, it's a Kojima game. He writes stupid dialogue. The only reason MGS1 had good writing is because of the English localization lead, who was fired afterwards.

It's useful when you've got other players zips in your world and can connect them in one rather than two

also if you're short on bandwidth you can stretch them farther. more useful in the eastern region where bandwidth is a lot more limited
