Doing anything would be seen as "feeding the trolls" because you have to acknowledge a problem to solve it. If they had just silently removed the signs then you'd hear a big fuss about "censorship".

Whiteness has been the standard on these shores since the 1600s and that hegemony was maintained by all sorts of means (mostly by violence) and is still the dominant culture here.
