Personally, I just desynth everything I get out of dungeons and sell the materials I get. That and passive income, plus the random windfall drop from retainers or dungeons, keeps the income rolling in.

The big tip to making money is just not frivolously keep spending it. Find ways to cut corners, like Aertheryte Discounts (and smart teleporting), dark matter for your repairs, and world hopping when buying off the market board (or knowing where to buy things instead of the market board).

I have to imagine getting rid of reuse is to slow down botters or something. What I don't understand is why we can't get Reclaim back if people looping it with Reuse is no longer an issue.

Patch day!

Only got to do the first two raid fights before going to women but E6N SLAPS. Really excited to see how the last two fights (and savage) play out!

Game crashed on me in e6 last night wasn't happy.

Which fight is E6N? I only know that E5N is Ramuh as an Ixion centaur

E6 is (spoilers that were in trailer) Garuda+Ifrit tag team

(specific fight spoilers) and then they FUSE. It kicks ass

I'm too busy making MILLIONS in gathering lol. I started early though, when materials were like 10k a piece for cobalts and logs and what not.

They've already dropped to half that, and by the end of the week will probably be under 1k each I bet.

Is there any point of increasing quality for Moogle beast tribe quests or should I just finish the items as quickly as possible?

Later in moogle quests it'll be required to high quality them, until then don't worry about it

Yeah, if they don't require HQ, just do synthesis and get through it.

You can try to HQ it, but certain items don't actually HQ even with Max quality. It's good practice though if you need to get used to rotations and adjustments.

Yeah normally I max out efficiency even for items that don't have HQ versions because it gives more xp, but since these don't give any xp I wasn't sure if it was indeed useless or if I was missing something.

I don't know if you guys got sick of this song, but the Kugane/Dungeon final boss theme is pretty sweet.

Been catching up on old content since I quit when Alexander was out and I didnt realize that they did a pretty direct reference to Transformers there.

Those robots, Brawler, Vortexer, Swindler, Blaster and Onslaughter are references to the old school G1 Combaticons

Even their combined form Brute Justice is kind of like the Combaticon combined form Bruticus.

Has anyone else been noticing occasional flickering graphics since the patch? I thought it was just Azys Lla being graphically intensive or something, but now I'm seeing it in some old areas too.

Very cool that I basically missed the last two bosses of the Aetherochemical Research Facility because the tank couldn't wait for me to watch the cutscenes twice in a row

Well I usually ask in chat to wait and it works. Or I queue as the tank/healer, though some don't care even then. Also I thought the game asks you to warp in if the room is sealed off? Unless that's not always.

I was able to warp in, but the bosses were over half dead by the time I finished watching the cutscenes.

Yeah that dungeon was designed for like iLvl 142, but because you get synced to level 60 you get synced to iLvl 270, so you can be way way way too strong for it, which enables people to be jerks and just power through without you. And they do it really fast too!

I think they've started fixing that in newer expansions by having max syncs below the top of the expansion but it still sucks for the old dungeons
