A- rated pollster by 538 came out with a poll for the democratic NH primary. The current frontrunner with 26% of the vote is...Michelle Obama. For some reason they included her in the polling question and she comes out on top.

No clue what that says about anything. Probably not a good sign for the strength of the field.

Centrists in the bougie class love the Russian smear for use on Bernie Sanders for two reasons:
-distracts from how bad their candidates are on the issues by attempting to force you into them, like they do with "the most important thing is to stop donald trump", they will also use "you can't trust x because russia likes them", triangulating them as your only choice and you can't even think about how good or bad they are.
-gives them an out to criticize Bernie for something that isn't his policy stances. they also do this by saying he is grumpy or should smile more or all the nitpicks like that.

Want to know what else their doing? Encouraging all of Tulsi's shit. And yes, they help run the idea that Bernie is somehow also an asset, they've been putting that one out awhile(its false).

The goal is literally break off small percentages(Even tenths of a percent will add up by election day) of voters in any way they can. This is why Tulsi running with this crazy talk of conspiracy against her is so dangerous(And the DNC seems to have learned their lessons a bit, I think we can pretty safely call Warren the favorite right now).

I swear to god you people are brick walls. You think fake news is a huge concern because the establishment media would rather explain the appeal of Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard, and Donald Trump as being all because of outside forces, rather than understanding why these figures actually appeal to their fans, which is that they are saying different things and offering different perspectives than you can typically find on the establishment media and from establishment politicians. Yes, Russia does run intelligence operations on the US public to cause chaos and disrupt the established order. Literally nobody has disputed this. I don't think that calling out individual politicians you think are being boosted completely without being part of it themselves by any indications serves a purpose of going after fake news - attack RT, attack Trumps legitimately concerning business/mafia connections to Russia, whatever. But to lump in Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard serves one purpose- to undermine them politically, and unfairly. And if the real issue is concern with fake news and Russian interference, and you are really DEEPLY concerned about stopping it- why are we witch hunting instead of talking about REAL solutions like Ranked Choice Voting, which removes the possibility of spoiler candidacies and allows a much more fair system of elections? That is a tangible way to address this concern, but that isn't what Hillary Clinton is saying we should do, she is attacking a Democrat with completely baseless speculation and starting a witch hunt.

If you are wondering what makes me question it, Vlado used to do this early podcast-like thing(podcasts didnt really exist) on Stickam called Vlado Live. He'd pull on actual b8'ers as guests and the dude was reasonable and actually listened and thought about peoples points on things. He was a normal person.

All of his political posts here now are 1-sided conversations, he pushes the crazy talking points and anything that is a clear rebuttal to his point he ignores. At the very least, it feels like hes trying to fulfill some sort of quota or hes required to do X as a requirement to make his normal posts here(Which were often...literally babe brawl, which at times were completely counter to some of his political posting ideas).
